It’s the right thing man but I need the beeping sound to go away bro it’s so annoying and my head lights work perfectly fine but says right/left headlights dip is there fuse to take the beeping away while I’m driving ?
I tried this on my 2009 A4 and the beep and light still came on. I am find with a bandaid for fixing this issue but hoping you can guide me to another way. What is the most common cause of this issue? I replaced the front sensor which is the one OBD 11 showed as faulty. Now I get a code stating there is a ground short of some sort.
Yes you'll have a ground fault because the fuse is removed and not supplying power to the headlight range control module. I feel as long as the lights are level and you can see at night I wouldn't even touch it . If you have enough money to throw at the car then you'll need to diagnose the issue correctly. Most of the time the level sensors at the front and rear lower control arms go bad. There is 2 . 1 front left lower control arm and one on the rear lower control on driverside . Sometimes the motor in the headlight goes bad and that can get expensive to fix.
@@theshoptopauto Thanks man. I used a OBD 11 to diagnose and it showed the front sensor was bad. I replaced it and still got the fault although this time it shows a bad ground.
@@gershondorfman5471 I’m having this current issue now.. out of no where I actually was messing with obd11 and I didn’t change the value or anything but I just rewrote the same value and now this annoying alert comes out I can’t reset or delete for the life of me..
I have the same problem: I am messing around with obd eleven, and I press new coding value, and I don't know how to put it back .. 😢 on my audi a5 2008 . Any solution please?
Wtf? Where’s the fixing part? I bet leaving that fuse out is gonna throw other codes. This is not a free fix. This is the equivalent of putting electrical tape over the check engine light. 😂
You are correct . Sorry I wasn't clear on that part lol . But If you connect a scanner there will be a fault code in the electronics control module. Doesn't affect any other modules nor will it throw other codes . Its basically a free alternative to fixing the warning light which blinks on the dash as it annoys some people. To fix this issue it's sometimes very expensive.
Not true . Once the fuse is pulled the headlight adjustment motors won't be working anymore. " one is already shot if your getting the light on the dash " . You can than adjust the headlight manually with an Allen wrench.
Also a bad level sensor will cause this issue. Either way if your not mechanically inclined it can get very expensive. It's a temporary cheap alternative to the annoying lights and beeping on the dash lol

I got the Headlight range control defective error after changing my battery at Autozone. What should I do
2018 Q3
My high beam doesn’t hold, i can only flash, what should i do?
Whats the name on the map you got on there. My tt layout is kinda different the 6 fuse is the door
Where is the fix? I just saw only fuse removing and that isn't fixing.
Does it stop the beeping sound man?
Hello
Can this be done for the a3 8p 2010 if so what's the fuse location
I'm sure it can . To be honest I'm not sure which fuse it is . You'd have to check your fuse diagram and locate fuse which controls headlight range
Alam did you fix the problem

Thank you for this one mate 👏
Your very welcome sir 💪
Pretty sure, your Headlights will go light the ground and not the road.

That's happen when the sensor doesn't work, so it was down already
The road is usually on the ground 😂
