2020-21 ski season was disrupted in Canada because of the pandemic. Ontario ski resorts were closed until the end of February. But ski resorts in Quebec remained open during the whole season.
We spent our 2020 pandemic Christmas holiday in Mont-Tremblant.

I’m 44 and I really start skiing last year. I took a couple lessons 20 years ago but the boots are really uncomfortable and I just gave up. As we work at home full time, I really need to find something to do outside our house. My son loves his experience last year and we plan to go again. My husband start skiing at 3 years old...so mom is the one that all the family need to convince to have more ski weekend. 😅
We actually started skiing in Canada because we wanted to have some family winter activity. Ski boots should not be too comfortable but at the same time should not be too uncomfortable. Maybe try to find boots from different brand.

Tremblant is super fun although last time I went it was super cloudy and I was with
Worse skiers then me so they didn’t want to do harder trails in the fog
The hills in this video look like beginner. Are the intermediate hills good there? I’m a maybe intermediate (haven’t been since I was ~19, 29 now lol)

we're going down in a few weeks. Is there any restaurants at the top of the hill you would recommend to take a lunch break from skiing? Something with a wider choice on the menu (and for kids as well)
There is only one restaurant on the top of the mountain located in the chalet. The food is not too bad there and the view is amazing. There are more restaurants in the village.

I grew up in ottawa speaking french my entire life, and quebecers are so anglophobic and toxic people that they descriminated against even with one liftie saying basically telling me that those who dont speal french dont deserve to be in quebec and to go ski somewhere in the USA when I asked them a question in english. So americans and non quebecers, avoid that province and tremblant at all costs, the town and lifts have 40 minute lines all day every day, the snow conditions are always icy from the overcrowding, and the people suck
