My partner and I are both nurses... Save your vegetable scraps and use them to make stock so you can make a soup of the week. Then take your soup to work in a flask - quick meal on the go that you can eat fast on your breaks, or you have it there at home to heat quickly and enjoy something comforting when you get home from a long shift. Learn one treat that you bake really well (mine is Belgian buns) so that when you have a couple of days between shifts you have something to look forward to both making and eating, so that you don't overload yourself with taxing activities during your days off. You can also meal prep eggs by beating them with some spring onion/pancetta and then pouring them into cupcake cases and baking them. Makes a quick high-protein breakfast, and stays good in the fridge after cooking for several days. I hope this helps
I LOVE this tips!! Thank you! I'm someone who frequently needs snacks during the day, so these are perfect! I even told me boyfriend about them and he's ready to make the eggs in cupcakes for himself lol thank you to you and your partner for sharing these great ideas!
@@maryberrystudio Richard is a better cook than me and since he started doing the soup thing, our lives have improved a lot - if we're on opposite shifts so home alone while the other is at work, coming home and just having to heat up a soup is much easier than making a meal for one person, and is like a little hug in a bowl. The eggs: I got the idea from Joe Wicks (I don't know how famous he is outside of the UK), but something I've found is that they can stick to the paper cases, so it might be worth treating yourself to some reusable silicone cupcake cases. I am also a snacky person, so bananas are super helpful for a mid shift boost
i know Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
BuJo goals for sureee! 😍😍 PS: Something that keeps me full is an Indian Dish called Dosa, and there are SO MANY recipes of different versions available, and it goes with literally anything! Hope you're staying safe! Lot's of respect and love! 💗✨
I rarely comment but Happy New Year! Thank you so much making this year bearable with your art videos and putting a smile on my during this tough year! I look forward in continuing watching your videos!
This was just so dang relaxing to watch! I've actually gotten into bullet journaling because of you. I've been hooked for a while now! I've been kinda nervous to plan 2021 since a LOT of changes are gonna be happening for me, but watching you set up your year has really helped me get hyped for it!! Thank you for giving me a little pep in my step! ^-^
I'm gonna cry!! 🥺💖 I'm so happy I could help you!! It's hard to plan when the times aren't normal as well as many life changes! Just do your best and keep things broad, that's what I did last year when I wasn't sure if I would be going to grad school!
The quote you chose is perfect for leaving 2020 behind and going in a new direction. I'm definitely gonna use it in my 2021 bullet journal spread. This video is very helpful especially since I'm new to bullet journaling.
I’m not great at cooking and nutrition either tbh, but some of my favorite meals to bring with me to school during tech week were pastas with a lot of protein and veggies in them. Especially if you pre-make them in batches, you can get a lot of bang for your buck. It’s nice to treat yourself to meals you’ll look forward to during a long day.
Honestly, pre-making huge batches of food seems to be the best bet. Like, just set aside one day every week or two just for cooking two meals in epic portions. Container it out and there's food you just have to reheat!
I've been looking for a quote to add to my January spread & the quote you used for your first page is amazing. The second I heard it, I knew it was perfect lol Thank you💖 💖💖
I would love to see some digital stickers/washi tape, I'm starting a digital bujo this year and the one thing I miss are stickers and washitapes, so making digital ones would be awesome!
That's a great idea! I'll add that to my list of things to add to the shop. I have a bunch of digital printables over on Patreon and you get access to all of them with any tier! 😊
Your cute little snicker is just awesome, your videos and your voice are both very soothing...i don’t even plan or bullet journal but love to watch anyways
Ramen and loaded nachos are like my two favorite foods LOL! I'm always looking for ideas to make ramen better! I mainly just do an egg and some peanut butter which makes it creamier. I love scallions too if I have any!
I absolutely love the quote! Watching your videos and listening to your voice overs is so soothing! All the best with nursing school! Im sure you’re going to do so well :) love how simple your spread is. The colors are so cute! Btw, do you use a special mic for voice overs? 🙈
Thank you!! :D I use a blue snowball ice I think it's called?? It looks like a golf ball LOL I dont know why but for everyone else their audio sounds great with it but mine always sound like I'm sitting inside a box and my nose is stuffed up 🤔 (maybe that's just what I sound like) I would like to upgrade to maybe the blue yeti since it has little dials to make adjustments!
i think the mushy micron tips are fixed in their pn line (?) the pens of that release have plastic nibs which are quite a bit harder to mess up if you are heavy handed :-)
Thank you! And hey dont sweat it, I can be on and off with my bullet journal a lot too. Especially with 2020 (my 2020 flipthrough video can attest to that lol) sometimes a new journal or journaling style can really bring the magic back 🤗
@@maryberrystudio Yeah with 2020 and online school it was hard to bujo because everything was online. But yeah maybe a new journaling style could help me :)
Omg I didn’t know you were a nursing student! What semester/year are you? I’m a second year BSN student! I have 3 semesters left. It makes me so happy to find other nursing students. lol
I'm in my second semester of a entry to practice masters program! Our program still calls us BSN students even though we take grad level classes, but we all graduate as baby nurses in the end! The classes I took in my first semester was health assessment, fundamentals, pathopharm, and a grad course in clinical nurse leadership if that helps give perspective on where I am in my journey!
@@maryberrystudio Oh that's so cool, my university has a direct entry MSN too! I took similar classes my first semester, except pharm and path I took second semester. I just finished peds, advanced med surg, and informatics. Now I'm going to take psych and OB lectures plus 3 clinicals. I wish you the best on your nursing journey!! :)

it is definitely a challenge! But that's why I dont really make weekly spreads in advance because I tend to not use them towards the end of the week or if the week is just to busy and I dont use the spread. I just journal whenever I have time! I have spreads that I showed in my flip through where I'll have only a few scattered days of the month in a single weekly spread

It is super easy to do!! Just need some markers and pens! :D
It felt very good to see someone else starting this year unsure and having trouble throughout. Makes me feel not alone in this 😅
I always try to be super transparent for this reason!! 😊
