Ooh I got so many good ideas from this video! I was considering doing different colors of washi tape on the first page of each book to denote the genres but I LOVE your idea of the color coded tabs. I also really like the look of your pages and how you’re not afraid to highlight everything.
thank you so much for stopping by! i’m glad to have been of service :) i was also originally thinking of doing the washi tape system, but i realized that i write too close to the edges of my bible for that to be functional for me. God bless!
Thank you for sharing! I love the one color per day! It's a nice aesthetic and great for looking back to see how much you did in a day. Thanks for the idea! ❤
My brain works with a color coding and symbol system I learned back in 2002. It was very overwhelming at first, and I admit that a decade later I started to cut back on the symbols so I don't see too much clutter on every page. I have toyed with a few other systems, particularly in the past five or six years. But I always go back to my tried and true system. However, I just bought a new Bible to read next year, and it's just a regular Bible and not a One Year Bible. I like your idea of using one color per day because it would definitely help me keep track of my daily reading more easily. I absolutely cannot simply read the Bible. I always find myself underlining or circling or highlighting, or all of the above! The Bible I bought is a large print, and it has a little bit of margin to make a few short notes in, and since it didn't cost me much money, I feel like I can play with a new system in it. Thank you for sharing. I have an abundance of colors to use so I think I will start January 1, 2025 using your color a day system. God bless you young lady.
I'm going through Job as my personal study, Philippians in prep to lead it on youtube and Isaiah with a mentor and friend, and I just got a couple new resources!
I also love reading my Bibles I have a world Bible school study edition Bible and a catholic life Bible and a children Bible as well can I write in them with a regular pencil ✏️ 🙏 ❤
hello, thanks for stopping by! im not familiar with writing in Bibles with a pencil, but i don't see why not, other than to be mindful of its sharpness so as not to rip through the paper.
Yes, I use pencil all the time also. Things to keep in mind when you chose a pencil.... bible pages are really thin, so take note of the lead size (how easily it breaks) and how heavy-handed you are. Use a back page of your bible as a test page.
