I know a few people with Vulture's who felt the same way. When I told them about this they all decided to hold off a little longer and make some money 😆
You can always tell whether someone uses what they make by how good or bad it is. They added this awesome feature to the game, then nerfed its profit to the point where people will choose to do anything else in game for profit. If they change one thing at CIG, it should be that people who make these kinds of decisions must be required to log a certain number of hours in game playing the loops their decision impacts. And with NO SPECIAL admin privileges. Because it's clear this decision was made by someone who doesn't play. Because if they did, they'd know it was a dumb idea to nerf weapon value that much.
I wish.. can’t be spending $150 on a game tho lmao they need to add it in the in game shop already. For them to add salvaging and basically lock it behind a $150 pay wall is BS.
Ownership is currently based on the ship, so yes, your Vulture, your RMC. If you load it onto your Hull A you can sell at the TDD if you want to maximise profits :)
@BeardofOz sweet, thanks for that info. This was how I used to run salvage when 3.18 went live. Haven't played much recently, but glad it should be fine for me.
I guess it's not for everyone! It really depends on what gameplay you enjoy. I personally like Solo Salvage, but if it's not your jam, it's not your jam!
@@BeardofOz the vulture is fine, little low on cargo space but over all a satisfied experience, it is the transporting goods that you've salvaged with part is annoying, even ROC mining you can now storage what's in your ROC directly into your ship's inner space to let you bring more in one trap. As for prospector mining, you have to go to refinery anyway, so change to your cargo ship seems effortless, but vulture is different, it feels like you would better doing it with another person, who can spare some of their time and be your transport, and that's totally fine for team player, but as I indicated in the post, it is not appealing for solo players. Oz, you're not really a solo player 🤣🤣🤣 Someone enjoy been solo in this game is like, well, for example, jump town never seems to be interesting for me, because it will force you to interact with other players in a way that you can't direct the outcome. The verse is big enough for me to play it as a solo game, if that make some sense to you. and as I saw one of your community voting post some days ealier when you as if players watching your channel wish to try the current jumptown experience, at least when I dropped my vote, it was like 50 something percent of players vote I don't go jumptown at all, there are lot of solo players out there in the verse. Its been tired that we have to deal with people at work, we just want our ship+ourselves+the verse. a relaxing solo experience. Vulture however, is not, for what it designed for, it is great, it feels nice too, but the fact you need a transport ship to help you out to make the experience better is just, you know what I mean. 😂😂 It is the same thing for prospector at the moment, solo prospector isn't making much profit, I use to do 10 times ROC mining after a server wipe to get a prospector and start earn aUEC to buy in game ships, but now since prospector's money making efficiency isn't better than ROC anymore, why borther to buy it at all, just ROC mining untill I can buy a caterpillar or C2. Solo player been called solo is not because they can't find someone to play with in game, because they would avoid to play with someone else.
30k frequency makes these loops of salvaging and mining is no good to try to make money. I can't get a stable enough shard to sit and risk 30k trying to salvage or mine.
Love my vulture, I do the same... treasure hunting + pressure washing zen
We need better lights on the Vulture.
Please CIG, gimme them Pisces supernovas

Thanks for a new spot, I was considering melting the ship with the way salvage is at the moment

@@BeardofOz I just walked away 150k richer, and actually enjoyed it 😊

Hmm ok so it seems Yela and GH is the place to go. I need a buddy to team up with now
If my friend is scraping in my vulture, is the RMC mine or his? If i transfer all the RMC to my Hull A can i sell at a regular TDD?

Tobii is great, really great. Salvage however, not so appealing for solo players.
Disagree, salvage in a vulture is great. As is the Tobii!

Gives video a title of, "Use Salvage to Make Millions!". Creates video that doesn't give ONE helpful hit (except MAYBE for the "gps space box").
Salvaging with friends on a Reclaimer sucks now. I quit doing savaging until they fix the huge nerf to it with a crew. Trash
