I don’t get it man. How is this even possible? How do people remember the entire sequence and how much training does it even take? How is speedrunning not an Olympic sport already? Even the music is perfect for this. Doom and portal will forever seem to me the most speed dependent games and the most intense to watch. I’m catching my self saying wtf 5 times a second.

It's possible cause communities of people find glitches and hacks to optimize the speed at which the game can be completed. Literally hundreds of man hours are spent playing and refining their skills and drills to beat the game. These guys are deserving of respect.

how do i change the key prompts in the game from controller to keyboard. like press A to continue or X to skip cutsceens? this has been driving me nuts, as i cant load the mission without pressing then A key on my controller, which i dont have

You're insane, but just watching you speedrun for about a day made me about 10x better at the game. I was too lazy about weapon switching and using the right weapons for each demon. I am playing nightmare and I went from fearing Doom Hunters and Marauders, dying multiple times per Slayer Gate/harder encounter to usually not dying and generally completing them in my first try. You are a God, thank you.
Watching this makes me feel completely inadequate, but is amazingly entertaining, I am going to take some of the play style and try and adapt it for myself.
