The weather in TX can be extreme in Winter, and the traffic can be frustrating, sometimes. I have been there, but it was boring.
Flat (apartment!) looks nice and big Izzy. I don't know Austin but it has a good reputation (and direct flights to London 😀). I hope it'll be great for you. Good luck with the new job and everything!
