    It's legit like playing a video game with the sonar.
    So bizarre how much the fishing game has become.
    That sonar and all the electronics is a total game changer. All this state of the art gear!!
    I love that you and your Pup chill on the boat and go fishing.
    That's awesome. Truly a man's best friend.

    great new video Mikey! This is how we "ditch" fish on Lake Lanier for spotted bass. Find the big balls of bait, look for the active fish and throw out a 2.8 Keitech, DS or Damiki. Almost identical to what you are doing in this video. Have you tried a small hair jig too? That can be a nice alternative that the fish don't see a lot of...

    Great stuff using the drop shot Mikey! I caught 2 on the jerk bait today but, I think I'm going to rig my drop shot rig as my first choice tomorrow. One thing, you use the term "nose hooking" the bait to mean something a little different than other people's videos. So, put the hook point through the middle of the nose and go into the bait maybe 1/2 to 1 inch and then bring the point out the top. It looks like that will keep the bait horizontal. Got it.

    Since moving to Alabama...what percentage of a new way of fishing did you have to change/learn from Florida fishing?

    • @mikeybalzz
      @mikeybalzz  Год назад

      That’s a tough question man I guess if I had to put a number on it it would be 50% however at the same time there are a lot of things that we do in Florida that you can do up here just with slight modifications I think in the end all fishing is pretty much the same conceptually it’s just a matter of tweaking stuff for whatever region you’re in

      @@notsogood6249 short answer, i can work from anywhere so i wanted a change from FL, i visited bama a couple times, it's gorgeous, you can fish 365, and it offered a lot of fishing and access to lakes that were totally different for me - perfect learning experience. i still get time in FL every year so i feel i haven't lost that but i'm able to catch smallies, spots and largemouth and they're not as big but still some bigguns to chase and it's a cool process for the vids i think. you thinking of moving?
