Glad you finally figured out the issue. Looks like it was time for some maintenance anyway so the new parts you added had to be done soon either way. I have a clutched 83mm pulley on my E55, I like having the added safety of a clutched pulley over a fixed pulley. I’m not running any cats, mufflers, or resonators on mine, just headers into X pipe, all the way back to the tips. I would ditch the bad cat or replace it with a Magnaflow high flow cat. Also, I would keep the mushroom filter! I’ve seen guys get decent gains with a mushroom… I’m curious if you’ll feel more boost or not with the different factory blower now.

I still want to put a high-flow 200-cell cat after the long-tube headers to eliminate the exhaust smell. Are those actual facts about the mushroom filter over the 3'' tube intake I have??
I unscrewed the ones after the primary cats. One is before the primary car and the second is after the primary cat. I said to myself I would not put crapy vrp parts on this car ... but... that was the only company supplying them. ECE, not sure if they still have them. I looked but couldn't find them.
You can get it! But the fitment is rough, you will either have to take it to a shop to install it or get a heat gun and be ready to do sight modifications to the splitter before everything fits nice. Honestly the carbon fiber splitter might be better fitment cause I had no issues with the carbon fiber on my CLK. But then it was from a different company.
Is there a way to contact you privately? By email or fb etc My sc on my C32 has developed this weird high pitched noise off boost too... Then when you develop boost, it turns into a fast chattering/bird tweeting noise. I think the rotors may be clashing? Could you have a listen if I sent you a video? I may buy your sc from you if that is the problem. Many thanks
I wouldn't run fixed unless constantly monitoring iat temp just in case it pump ever dies you can catch it quickly otherwise stainless steel or titanium clutch pulleys ftw
Yes it does that sometimes when you start it because its on fixed pulley. Fixed pulley pushing more air into the system on start up, and because the Cats are mad clogged, its trying to manage to breathe out from the two small ports on the exhaust.
it literally still has the plastic stickers on the door treads stock head unit it’s flawless. it just has coolant in the oil i’ve been working on fixing
My c32 got the battery/alternator light and power steering locked up while I was driving home :( big sad I’m guessing it’s my alternator but I’m not sure anyone know what it could be ?

Which 02 sensors did you unscrew the ones before or after the cat? I have done coils, plugs, wires, and injectors as well. Still have a rough idle!

Did you check to see if the serpentine belt is broken or still on all pulleys?
