The large diameter hose to the left breather cover is supposed to supply clean air to the engine ,,it should not be attached to the catch can . It should remain in the original position. The catch can should just be installed in between the outlets from the breather covers and the original input to the intake elbow.
I used the filter that came with the kit for that line because I no longer have a pipe with that connection because of my new throttle body. After seeing his setup it made me second guess mine.. glad I came to the comments 👌🏽
@HeyboysGarage Hello. Is there a downside to connecting the thick pipe in the crankcase that is connected to the intake Y pipe? I connected the two vents to the oil trap, but oil is still leaking from that thick hose to the intake manifold
The big port route it to the y pipe. There will be some oil residue that wont even make it pass the y pipe, but its not blow by like the two small ports
what’s type of intake did you have on your throttle body at this time? and could you drive it with just that intake itself no other mods along with it?

You are right, I updated that later on after the video. Bigger port is suppose to stay in with the y pipe intake port
@@HeyboysGarage Ok Good ,,so to be clear , it is only the smaller diameter hoses that extract gases from the engine via the breather covers.
@@Leo555ZZZ exactly! They go into the catch can. And the out goes to the throttle body nipple

If it is not connected to the catch can, than should it just be left open with no hose? I recently hooked up this catch can to my c32 amg

DCAI, and yes you can!
Awesome content bro! Did you have to remove the TB to fit the 5/8 pcv to it?
Yeah you have to, it’s easier that way. Update also. The drivers side big port. Don’t tie it in with the line just still route it to the y pipe
@@HeyboysGarageThanks!
How many miles is your c32
181k
Thanks bro
Make sure you put the drivers big port to the y pipe intake and not tight it in with the catch can
