añejo has a very bourbon taste for me, it's enjoyable and easily sipped or mixed. I've not tried the crystalino yet.

That burnt smell is probably the agave scent in itself mixed with the caramelized barrel smoked. Im getting some soon so ill check..

    1. Aztec not Maya
    2. Cap is definitely not a shot glass
    3. Steamed in a stone oven. Read the labels on the bottle

Hey Jose!! We would LOVE to review a Sotol or Mezcal on the show one day. Jon is particularly a fan of the Desert Spoon!

They are distilled at 40% not 40 proof. 40% Alcohol is actually 80 proof :-)

The Older 1800 Bottle had a Clear Shot Top/Stopper that Filled Up if Bottle was Inverted & Allowed a Measured Pour which Disappeared from the Market about 2-3yrs ago

Interesting! We find you can still fill the top up for a shot though :)

You all, haha, are missing the point. Drink or do shots with lime and salt. After a while you wouldn't notice the aroma nor the taste. Bottoms up.
