They should, but they won't. The anime's only purpose is to serve as advertising the game. Yu-Gi-Oh!R has old cards, simple duels and the only extra deck mechanic is Fusions. So the companies have no interest in coming back to animate this spin off. I realized this years ago, which is why I decided that I wanted to animate the manga myself. It's not perfect, but at the very least, it's enjoyable. And I hope to share this with as many fans of the old show, as I can.
Winged dragon of Ra can just destroy Avatar with its God Phoenix. That is why Ra didn't appeared here because Gekko Tenma already banned Yugi to use Ra because he knew that Ra can easily destroy Avatar
Something I didn't properly show while making the animation for episode one, is show how Yakou is actually watching the duel between Yugi and Marik. Although if you look closely you can see the duel being shown on the screen monitors during the first few seconds of the episode. By watching this duel, Yakou learns all of the effects of the winged dragon of ra. So in episode 5 when Yakou uses the body of Gekko to duel Yugi, he made sure to have cards that prevent Yugi from summoning a god on the field. And thus, stopped The Winged Dragon Of Ra from being summoned from the GY.

The thing is, Yugi doesn't learn why Yakou is going after him, until Gekou tells him. Until then, all that Yugi knows is, that Yakou is doing this for revenge. But he doesn't know the reasons for him wanting revenge. And when Yugi learns the reason, when he finally confronts Yakou and he tells him that Yugi didn't kill Pegasus, Yakou simply states that Pegasus accepted death because he lost to Yugi, so even tho Bakura was the one who killed Pegasus, Yakou believes that no matter who was the one who killed Pegasus, Yugi was the one who ultimatley made it so Pegasus would give in to death, since he lost that duel against Yugi in duelist kingdom.
@@kieranwrightstone2199 actually we haven't recorded the lines for that yet. But we do have plans for it, when the main story is completely animated. You probably wanna ask if you could voice someone from that chapter, but I can't give you any promises.
this really begs the question of how in tarnation yu gi oh cards are made in universe. Are they magical relics every one of them? or are they just trading cards? could pegasus before duelist kingdom have just made a card with infinite attack and beat yu gi?
Well, there are a few things to consider here. Pegasus created the cards by using the stone tablets he discovered depicting the shadow games from 5000 years ago, as a foundation of his design for the game. Those stone tablets are relics that hold the spirits of those monsters. Pegasus creating cards based on those stone tablets, enabled the spirits to also be able to reside in those cards. So this pretty much answers your question if the cards are magical or not. All cards act as a gateway to the spirit of the monster. Anyway, Pegasus was more focused on recreating those tablets into cards, than coming up with his own stuff. Which is also why he was soo insistent on finding the tablets of the Egyptian god monsters. Once he created the god cards tho, aside from the real danger of their mystical powers which now found their new home in the cards, he also realized that they had limitless power. Or in other words all 3 god cards had an abilities that enabled them to not have a limit on how much ATK they could have. For Slifer, as long as you can keep adding cards into your hand, it's ATK could rise indefinitely. For Obelisk, you can tribute 2 monsters and it's ATK could become infinite. For Ra, it could absorb the ATK of other monsters or all but 1 life point of the player and add those points to it's own ATK and DEF, meaning that it also didn't have a limit on how powerful it could become, as long as you have monsters and life points to sacrifice to it. With that being said, I believe after Pegasus created the god cards, he realized that he didn't like the idea of monsters with infinite power, so he avoided creating any more such cards, since he was afraid that one day, someone might end up using these card against him. This is the reason why he began his design on the wicked god cards, as he wanted to have something to counter the egyptian god cards if they where ever used against him. However he realized that the wicked god cards would also manifest a dangerous power once they where created, so Pegasus only came up with the design for the wicked gods, but never really finished the prototype for the cards. Which is where Yakou Tenma comes in. He finds Pegasus's design for the cards and creates them, just as he explained in this episode. And once he did, the cards began to show their mystical power. Did kaiba manage to create a duel spirit based on his own soul or did the creation of the card kaibaman spawn the duel spirit? are there ever failures of cards made? a card that is drawn up, placed on the field and nothing happens because it lacks a spirit because they made it wrong?
@@bobowon5450 Well if you recall the episode, Jaden and his friends are transported to the spirit world, where Kaibaman meets with them. Another theory is that since in Pegasus's company there are many positions as card designers, perhaps one of the designers created the card since he could have been an admirer of Kaiba, and the card was approved both by Pegasus and Kaiba himself. Either way, when in the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe a card is created, a new spirit monster is born.

Yeah, it would have been more interesting if Yugi/Atem lost to Yakou in that duel. It wasn't a shadow game or anything anyway so the stakes weren't that high. Then Tea being kidnapped and Yugi/Atem having to go to Kaiba Corp and save her while also getting back at Yakou, would have put even more pressure on them, as they would have to also deal with the fact they have to defeat and overcome a new evil god card. But I guess this would have taken away from the whole part where Yugi was the only one that could defeat Atem fair and square to send him to the afterlife in the ceremonial duel. Which btw, is being foreshadowed in this spin-off series. Along with Kaiba considering creating duel academy so people who play the game can learn to be more skilled and competent at it, which is foreshadowing of GX.
Please, please, PLEASE remake this with the AI voices to match the characters. This manga animation is such a good idea, and I think that would really bring it to its peak!
Yeah, there are 3 reasons why I didn't do it with the A.I. voices. 1: I didn't know about the existence of A.I. voices, so I decided to just gather a group of my friends and record the lines for the entire manga spin-off for all of the characters. 2: When I finally learned about the A.I. , when I tries to use it, I realized that the A.I. couldn't say the name of Yakou Tenma or the Wicked Avatar. And I tried out of curiosity, just to hear how it will sound. The A.I. also lacks ways to properly express emotions for different reactions. 3: Out of respect of Dan Green, I am not using the voice of the A.I. because he recently complained about channels using his voice through A.I. to make their fan-made duels to make themselves popular. Using his voice without his permission, to make such videos is considered stealing. Soo yeah,I know people would love it if they could hear Dan Green voice the role of Yugi in this manga animation, but unfortunately this is a small fan project and asking for the services of professional voice actors like Dan Green, to lend his voice for Yugi/Atem is not something I am capable of paying him for. So I am afraid you will just have to enjoy the episodes with the not so perfect voice acting that we did ourselves. XD

XD
What about Dreadroot and Eraser ?
Dreadroot will appear in episode 5. Eraser is going to appear further in future episodes. ^_^
But you can see their cards in episode 2, when Tenma and Bandit Keith are having their conversation.
Can u please make more episodes
Working on it.
@@JoyRideStudio thank God I thought u forgot about it at first
@@bouncyFrmdaBayou I haven't. It's just a slow process. I work on my own on the whole thing after all. It's hard to find people to help me with cutting and editing the pictures. Anyway, an episode should be ready sometime during February.
