Thank you so much for all the info, this week i'm ordering this carb too, do you use the stock slide 6,5 that came with it from factory? or you switched for other size?
In order to get an accurate or specific powerband character, buy the correct Keihin slide and needle. Needle diameter and tapper is critical. The Chinese bits are random.
I’m in New York and I currently have 38/170 with clip on the second position. It ran awesome just like that. I’m thinking of going down to a 168 as it gets warmer
Yeah, I know they put one in at the GPX shop in Utah. That might have been an Xtng though? but either way I'm sure any of those brands would work just fine
I'm not sure what mine has. I just bought it and received it last week (title indicates its a '23 TSE300R). I don't see any names/markings on my carb. I've only ridden it once just a casual 25 miles. I'm at 6000 ft in Colorado and ride quite a bit at my cabin which is at 9000 ft and everywhere in between.
Why would I do that? It’s a fantastic bike. You literally have no idea what you are talking about lol. All your ktm shit is made in china so what’s up with that? The phone you typed this on is made in china, so what’s up with that? You have no standing at all lol
I don't own an enduro bike and I probably won't buy one but I do enjoy your videos on these GPX's. "don't knock it till you try it" was awesome.
Thanks man! I appreciate it! I also ride a ktm 390 adventure too, so once winter ends someday I’ll be putting some stuff out on that too! Take care!
My pleasure bud great talking. 👍🏻
Indeed! James says you guys went a little richer on the pilot and main. Hope it works well!

I just kept the oem slide.

any recommendations?
Hello, do you recommend the original carburetor main and pilot jet at 1000 feet?
I don’t know sorry, but it comes with a 38 which I think is too big. I went with a 36
I just pulled the trigger on a pwk 38 clone too, I'd be interested in knowing what you've found to work best for jetting

@@LCARSADV hi, what are the latest settings? and what temperature?
Is this engine “based” off a 2019 KTM?
I thought they went to TPI in 2019? Is that case no it’s probably closer to a 2018-2018
Is there a smart carb that would fit

They did change over to a Keihin thankfully.
