Thats my mate Andrew's old van, he had it for 15 years, brought it back from the dead - got it purring, got the suspension just right, cleaned up the original patina, did the sneaky custom rake on the visor then the guys that got it from him added the extra lipstick patina, fake grass and stickers and flipped it...sad day - glad its gone to a good home, enjoy👍
I have given her a lot more TLC needed, radiator, all hoses, thermostat and housing, engine mounts, transmission mount, transmission serviced, brakes, proper lowering blocks which brought the back up an inch to give better level stance, wheels/Tyers, reconditioned the intermediate steering rod, most of the stickers replaced with added more, marine carpet in back, old steel trailer plug where there had been one, klaxon horn and new battery. She deserved the new love and just ran like a dream to Bright 3.5 hours away, just want to put the electronic dizzy in, the moulded carpet I already have for front, some new disc rotors to eliminate some brake shudder and maybe a Bluetooth stereo. She is most certainly loved in this family and has been very lucky she’s had some good care taker’s from 1976. Also would love to hear from your mate Andrew to find out more about her etc please put him in touch with me cheers mate 👍
That's my Brothers old van looked cooler with the real rust..I drove it home when he bought it from the lady. Great car to cruise in to Kustom kulture weekender in Adelaide and enjoy the day. Might be photos of the Van on their site.
Gday John yes I have paperwork that have a ladies name on it she obviously loved this van and was a very good care taker of her also would love more info if possible from your when your brother had he’s time with her I can pass on my contact details, cheers 👍
