If you progress far into the game and do jobs, eventually you will be asked to buy the Candle Hat.. Its a head piece that acts like a torch so you can do the caves easy peasy! ❤
Edit - You can use your pickaxe on the mine walls btw..

@@glennraiders7220Another way to get it is: by going into the deep level 2 mines by using four ruby shards on the mine shaft control panel. You have a chance to find the candle hat in chests in random temples that you see down there.

Can confirm yes you're able to dive from the start, and eventually you can in fact boat around

currently, there is no shelter for the doggo but word on the street says doggy kennels are coming in a future update

ew mines ugh forget it im out considering this game. last thing i want is to be down in some shitty dark mine thats a pain in the ass in every way. never playing another survival / farming / whatever game if it requires caving
I'm hating those kind of mines too but I was pleasantly surprised that it is not really required in Dinkum to go down there. Sure, it makes the gameplay much faster because you earn a ton of money and get a ton of ore, but you can get all that also above ground just in a way slower pace. Towards the end of my first in game year I even found the rare iron ore nodes in the desert. So if you don't want to do a speedrun, just ignore the mine.
@@pyq27 Can I get dog collars and other things outside of the mine? I don't like mines very much either, and the paying every time is quite stressful to me
Oh no! challenging gameplay! The mines aren't that hard, dude. Just, like, get good lol.
Just some practice and keys will make u a skillful miner👌 I like to take cooked limes and crocodile meat for healing but usually I skip monsters.
Also I play at night time bc of the shitty light in the caves
There is a mod that enhance lighting in the mines on nexus, u can try it 💪
Hi, I saw u killing alpha bush devil with ur doggo
I killed him and alpha jackaroo from the 2 tiles hole in the ground, I saw it on you tube somehow
So I wanted to ask if it's possible to do the same with alpha crocodile, as he has aoe skill 🤔
