I strongly agree that if one person is working outside the home then the one staying home should be taking care of the home. If something isn’t done by the time the other person gets home isn’t a reason to demean .. jump in participate and help out.. both parties live there so both are equally responsible for some role in the household

When it comes to cleaning the house and working for me I think both partners need to share the duties that way this can’t happen. Make time for each other etc. if you don’t mind this dynamic then good too but still work together when one is having an off day!

I was doing school runs, cook clean and going to my job. It wore me out physically/mentally but i still had to do it, it was hard as it was labour intensive work, heavy loading, carrying goods plus admin work. Until the day my knee extended back on itself, my meniscus was severely damaged, had to wait 28 months for surgery because of covid pandemic.
Till this day after surgery im partially disabled because i didn't give myself a break, its important both partners put balance into the household.
Marriage is a partnership. Sure a spouse can be a homemaker but not a maid. You both share a home but its both your responsibility to make a house into a home.(Luther Vandross). She gave him a good taste of his medicine. I am glad he realized it and owned up to his mistreatment of his wife

In reality people do experience these things and it's sad to know how inconsiderate the people or person living in that same house can be. Doing house work alone is very tiring then to know ur being accused of laziness and forced to over work can lead u into depression because u need that help badly.
Atleast help each other in the house and don't blame the one doing the most for being lazy. Help that person do things too.
