Thanks for reviewing bone conduction headphones. I got the Haylou one thanks to your review and I like it overall (although your comment about "power on" narrator causing goosebumps and multipoint handover taking a long time are spot-on and I'd like to see them addressed in future versions). After years of people experimenting with tws earbuds getting traffic accidents, ear infections etc, hope this category of headphones get more recognition it deserves and quality gets better over time
@@residentzero Thanks for suggestions! Among the air conduction ones you tried, which one do you think has the best bang for the buck?
@@deersakamoto2167 air conduction buds will indeed sound much better and there are no vibrations either. But bone conduction can be used underwater and with your ears plugged in or if you have some hearing issues too, so it can still offer some advantages. Regarding air conduction, I only tested premium open-ears such as the Shokz OpenFit or the Oladance OWS2 but now I’m trying to get a few more affordable sets together for a comparison so I will have a better understanding of those value offerings too.
Great video. Have been waiting for this.
Already bought one, the same red colour too. This is a game changer for those on hearing aid (hearing impaired) like me.
That’s one of the great benefits of bone conduction 😊 thanks for watching
Do you find vibrations annoying? Are you satisfied with the comfort? Can you compare sound quality with some other bone conduction? I have tinnitus so I hope bone conduction headphones will suite since in-ear headphones create discomfort for me.
Thank you for another great review, Andy! 👍
Cheers man 😎
Just subscribed to your channel the other day. Love your reviews. I hope you can get your hands on a set of Oladance Pro's. Specifically I'd like to know if they get louder then the shokz openfit ? Keep up the great work!
The OWS Pro is on its way 😎 thanks for the sub 😊
Hi Andy, nice vid again brother. J
Thanks man 😊
First! I like so much yours videos. Hope by Oladance OWS Pro!
I hope to get a test sample soon 😎
Hi Andy, just what I was waiting for. 😊 Your reviews really made me more analytical when getting new headphones. 😂 Now I'm on a fence between Runner Neo, Runner Diver, Haylou Purefree and Shokz OpenRun. My use case is running and cycling in fairly noisy conditions like urban area transport, and some time in office use. Most important for me is comfort and then sound quality. I like to listen to music, but I'm not an audiophile by any means. I have also slight tinnitus condition. I swim pretty rarely so that option is nice to have but not a deal breaker. Which one out of those 4 would you recommend if price is out of equation, because I can get them all for pretty much similar price with some discounts and coupons applied. We can add to the mix used OpenRun Pro since I can get them for similar price. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Andy!
i have shokz air and open run, form years of experience i can confidently say that shokz open run/pro are so comfortable that i have it on head 10+ hours daily. but i gotta say, open run pro has little bit better audio quality but open run(non pro) has better waterproofing , incase you like running/cycling in rain. this headset in video and shokz air look little bit bulky so i assume they might feel little bid heavy atleast that's how Air feels to me
@@V_003 thank you for your input. I have no experience with bone conduction headphones... I cannot even imagine it :) But the premise of increased awareness of surroundings is enough for me to switch to them... now I'm just trying to find best overall for my use case and budget. The choice has came to these 4 Runner Neo, Runner Diver, Haylou Purefree and Shokz OpenRun (and used Open Run pro)... I'm leaning towards Neo, my only concern is how I'm going to react to vibrations, which seem to be on a higher side of bone conduction spectrum... But, on the other hand I like the fact that volume can be very high, for those noisy environments. I read somewhere that Naenka is actively considering developing an app, so hopefully those small annoyances can be solved... Runner Diver is appealing because of it's versatility with swimming and offline .mp3 possibility. But they are probably less comfortable... And with Haylou and OpenRun I would be possibly marginally more satisfied with overall sound quality (or maybe not:))...
@AndysTechTone could you share is runner neo sound quality marginally better than runner diver or substantially, and is it similar or worse than haylou purffree?
Do you have tested the Haylou Purfree Lite? I wish to know how these compare to them.
I haven't tested those headphones, only the Haylou Purfree BC01
