Disgraceful behaviour, we've flown a lot with Ryanair but never experienced anything like that thankfully, it must have been frightening, they should have been arrested when they got off! 🤬
Awful for you and fellow passengers having to put up with that! We flew out in May to Palma with Ryanair and it was also a rowdy crowd and the fact that Ryanair split everyone up in a group booking if you haven’t paid for a seats together makes it worse as they won’t sit in their allocated seats 🙈 trying to swap etc and then standing in the isles to talk (drink) with their pals 🙉
As Ryanair cabin crew in Dublin this behaviour happens a lot nowadays, I’ve seen quite a few flights like this and the only thing I would expect is to have police on arrival. There isn’t much we can do inflight. It’s getting worse, this summer really proved it. And summer isn’t even over yet..
Thanks so much for comment. I totally understand that there's not much that can be done inflight, but given that the passengers were acting dangerously walking around seconds before landing, given more alchohol and were really disruptive to everyone around them, I'm amazed noone called the police on arrival. Just wondering how bad it has to get for this to happen :(
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun Thank you for bringing us this video . The only way to teach people like this that their behaviour is unacceptable is punitive fines ( £2,000 ) , arrest for endangering an aircraft , put on the next aircraft back home if it happened on an outbound flight and no refund . What a ridiculous comment! Why should descent people have a drink at airport! Not get blathered like these arseholes! A drink to start ur hard earned holiday!! Just hammer them in the pocket thats all these doyles know
I sadly encountered this situation a few weeks back on an easyjet flight to alicante(surprise) literally the whole back of the aircraft was a large stag group, lads shouting down the plane, all singing top of their voices, tops off, sneaking those e cigs, was mental. Im aware there going on holiday and want a good time but it became too much. These pathetic life forms are suppose to be young adults setting examples if there were to be kids on board! Im afraid to say its just the way a large percentage of British people are behaving now and from what ive seen when traveling low cost airlines such as ryanair and easyjet, total pathetic swamp life!!
I agree that people want to have a good time , but sadly so many people have no self control . All we ask is that folk behave themselves for a flight that is less than two hours out of their lifetime . Save the celebrations for when they hit the bars .
Sorry you had a bad flight. I flew back to Palma from Leeds on the same day and it was all fine. No trouble on the flight and straight through at passport control. I suppose it’s the luck of the draw with the other flights arriving at the same time. From what I can tell from my trip out and back to Mallorca this week, it seems busy but not as busy as I would expect. A lot of the restaurants are much quieter than normal at this time of year too.
Thank you for exposing this shameless behaviour. And Ryanair are culpable too, breaking their own rules by allowing drunk people on their flights, then endangering their own crew and passengers by serving alcohol to them during the flight. Wake up Ryanair! 😡
Flew with Ryanair From Belfast to Palma two weeks ago no issues at all. Landed in Palma late evening straight through Passport control and got bags really quickly. Much the same on the return journey home checked in and through to departures really quick. Been coming to the island for over 10 years and my recent experience was the best in terms of moving through the airport.
Alcohol at airports and planes should be banned full stop. Disgusting behaviour, not to mention scary. Can you imagine being unlucky enough to be in a room next to this lot at the resort?
This seems standard for Ryanair this year, a friend took the Edinburgh to Tenerife a few weeks ago and by the footage she showed me your flight wasn't too bad. It looked horrific and I actively avoid Ryanair at all costs, its cheap but for holiday destinations its just full of very young drunks.
"your flight wasn't too bad" 😮 Oh my goodness Derek, then I dread to think what she experienced. I felt really sorry for the kids and elderly people aboard this flight.
I laugh ....its ryanairs fault that they get twisted in the airport .... you will find its happening with a lot of other airlines too.... you can't teach stupid ....
Unfortunately this appears to be the norm now,, it's got a lot worse since everyone has started travelling again, I've fallen out of love with Mallorca now because of what it's become and the people it's attracting, it's so sad, some people don't care about anyone else now and are extremely selfish in general
All too common nowadays. That wasn't just one idiot either. A few intoxicated morons on there. Alcohol should be banned in airports and on flights as this is getting ridiculous. No need for it whatsoever. Anyone drunk should be refused travel too.
May I also add Alex & I'm sorry you had to put up with such awful behaviour. I work for the Airport & only a few weeks back a passenger was removed from a flight, had his boarding pass voided because he was considered too drunk to fly & was escorted out by security from airside back to landside. The signage at airports are placed in the checking in area before you get to security. Once you pass through security everyone has to obey aviation laws. I hope this info helps. Jon
You are so spot-on there. I enjoy a Pint (even at 5am if i'm going on my hol's) and respect everyone, sadly (as you said) its the minority....How on earth that was 'normal' is beyond me!!!
@@jettyharrison4377 ... and acting dangerously, disturbing and upsetting passengers, as well as kids and the elderly. Had the passengers who were walking around when the plane landed, they could've landed on someone and hurt them.

That was absolutely dreadful. Never experienced such bad behaviour, awful for you & all the other passengers. They should'nt be allowed to board in that state. 😮
Sorry to see this spoilt your flight.. we came home today and thought that the airport eating quarters were disgusting too.. so untidy with rubbish everywhere🤦🏻♂️
As someone with flight anxiety, I would be putting in a huge complaint - they need to fine people heavily with that kind of behaviour - they know where they are sitting! But this is why I never fly Ryanair and I get the early 7am flights when these larger louts are still in their beds!
So very difficult for flight crew, they must dread going to work. Passport control at Palma was horrendous on Wednesday when we returned to Leeds Bradford….nearly missed our Jet2 flight.
i suffer from anxiety on airplanes and being on a flight like that might cause me to suffer a panic attack. this is just horrible, not everything in life is getting drunk and partying. such superficial people and disgusting attitude!!! these people should be prohibited from going on airplanes
To imagine adults behaving in such a disgraceful manner does make you question their sanity. I would have had a panic attack had I been on that flight.
I have a suspicion that the EU/UK gov are going to enforce Social Credit Score on people who behave badly abroad and ban them from travel. I also think airports & planes should be dry zones. No alcohol.
Sadly I was badly assaulted on a Pegasus flight manchester to Istanbul left with severe concussion syndrome cannot drive for 6months,life changing injuries thanks to a 25 stone drunkard who knocked me out May 18th 2023,no apology from Pegasus airlines
Just awful. I know people are excited for their holiday but it's really disrespectful both for the other passengers and crew. Ashamed to be a brit at times! 😬
We flew Ryanair from Leeds Bradford on Monday and it was absolutely fine apart from poor communication from the airport. The way back was a nightmare but not due to passengers - our gate changed four times, the flight was 1hr delayed then a group of late passengers caused us to miss the 15 minute air traffic control take-off slot so we were grounded for another hour or so. Not a great end to a holiday I must say, but I definitely want to return to Mallorca!
I'm going to make a follow-up video and website article with some tips for her - just looking through the comments on this. I think it's important to be prepared on the off chance you get idiots like this on your flight.
We had a one guy in a group of lads coming back from Portugal last year on Jet2 but it was obvious even his friends were done with him. You're right though. Jet2 has a lot better service than the budgshit airlines.
And I also have to say the behaviour of those passengers is embarassing, and I think they should be met by the police on landing, this type of ridiculous behaviour needs to be punished.
I travelled wity easyjet on the 1st and going back to UK on Saturday, I was confused with the electronic Gates a I can still use them at the UK end, however they told me to go to the right because I'm under 18 to which the guard to the right said "no your British go to the left" leaving us clueless until we went to the right again
Some people don't get out that much which is why airport bars should be refused a license to supply. In the event of an emergency these drunks add to the panic. The airlines should concern themselves with providing a pleasant flight for passengers, not packing them into a flying party bus, or at the least provide separate party planes to popular destinations for the highly excitable.
I was looking to see if you have a video on getting there by ferry. I took the new (it started service in 2021) Balearia ferry from Denia to Ibiza (which went on to Mallorca) - very good, and so nice to have a real sense of arrival and adventure. There ought to be a fast ferry from Barcelona (Im amazed there is no particularly decent option). In the future (this is being sorted), the line will be entirely high speed from Paris to Barca (not just a portion of it, as it is currently), and they'll probably have a direct train from London to Barca, in the 2030's. A Ryanir flight ..with dumb, drunk, English scum, makes one embarrassed to be English/ British. You should do the whole journey by train/ ferry, it's great. Im guessing you're from the West Country, perhaps (if your flying from Bristol)/ I'm from Somerset. I sailed around Mallorca on a yacht in the 90's. Im hoping to return there again soon. Your videos are very well presented, informative and useful.
Ha, I'm just catching up on comments (from ages ago, apologies), and you guessed right, I'm from the Dorset!. I would love to do the train/ferry trip. I will one day!
I've never been a fan of Ryan Air! Even on EasyJet people can get rowdy, but still it doesn't mean people should behave like that. What caused the delays? Was it the usual air travel control delay problems? That's been going on for most of this year! My flight back to Gatwick in May was about 2 hours late as well. How awful they had everyone in the same queue! When I went over to Palma in May they had the UK go through the egates & everyone else in manned kiosks but it wasn't that busy in the airport at the time I guess. Still seemed very busy in Palma mid May though! It must be heaving now & as you said it's not even peak season!
People are very inconsiderate these days and dont think about the children the elderly or disabled.. its late as well people are tired..there are no consequences that is why they act like that. There needs to be a talk as well as there safety talk about considering others on flights and talking quietly coz some people think the whole plane wants to hear there conversation.
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun i can imagine.. its my worst nightmare getting on a flight with rowdy people who have no behaviour.. it really puts me off flying but like i said the crew say nothing and they know they have only so much power but saying nothing is worse
You poor thing..That was shocking..My son was travelling home with E.J..to Manchester few weeks back..a group had bought alcohol to bring on plane..they were told they couldn't drink it..but they did and got caught out..they all had to hand passports over..apparently they cannot use there flights again..and they do forward it to other airlines..they can get barred apparently..Also a friend i know using R.A..got thrown of after calling a flight attendant a "knob" when asked to use toilet..Airplane stood still police took him off..couldn't get a flight home..Luckily his Boss lives in spain he sorted a flight home after few day..
OH MY GOODNESS Tina, I wish they'd done similar on this flight, but honestly, i think the reason they didn't was because there was a plane load to go back and everyone just wanted to get done for the day. Credit for easyjet for banning them though.
do you remeber how much was the flight? im looking to book flights for august for 4 and with orange company(the cheapest) are just over a grand...just thinking if worth waiting or will go up even more...🙁
It was cheap - it was Ryanair, last flight on the evening and mid week - cheapest time to travel! I booked a couple of weeks before going because I can be flexible on dates
@MallorcaUnderTheSun ok...thanks...yes latest flight is cheap even with easyjet but you lose the first day of your holiday in my case, as i don't live there like you...
I flew from East Midlands to Palma with Ryanair just over 3 weeks ago - 11 July. Average age of passengers on board? I'd say about 20. Fairly good natured and not too tanked up (flight left on time) but three lads had to be told to "SIT BACK DOWN!" by the steward/esses as they were up on their feet like Jack in a boxes and grabbing their suitcases from the overhead lockers pretty much the instant the wheels touched the runway. Then the same again as the plane turned off the runway onto the taxi way, then AGAIN before they got the plane parked. I'm guessing they were asking "which way's Magalluf?" as soon as they were through passport control... I was still gobsmacked after seeing the lads in front of me pay €9 each for a minature bottle of vodka and a can of Fanta during the flight... ...
Absolutely embarrassing. This sort of reporting should be on mainstream tv to highlight the disgraceful behaviour of some of us when we travel. Downright frightening and dangerous on an aircraft.
That was pretty upsetting, I'm not sure how well I would have coped with that. I think the politicians have not yet succeeded in attracting a better "class" of traveler.
Oh my goodness, what a horrible lot, sorry for your bad flight experience.. I have never tried anything like this, hope I never will 😅 thank you for the video Alex 👍🏻
Same thing happened on 4.30pm flight on 28th June 2024, never again will I fly Ryanair. Four female young air stewards still supplied alcohol to the rabble, when asked they said Ryanair basically told them to suck it up unless physically assaulted. There has to be a health and safety issue here, nearly everybody felt intimidated. Never ever.
In the UK we have paid a huge sub-class of people to just breed indiscriminately, without needing to take any responsibility. Education institutions are forced to teach at the lowest common denometer, and the population is dumbing down. What do we expect.
We flew with Ryanair to Palma last year with our 3 children and our flight out was perfect but the flight home was delayed by 2 hours and once we boarded a drunk man kicked off and had to be removed, making us 3 more hours late to depart. Makes me embarrassed to be a Brit myself 🤦🏼♀️
Lot of the youths have lost the plot. In Portsmouth recentley the lads are swimming in front of the hovercraft turmoil. The guy at the end of the ramp telling him to keep it clear for there safety and there telling him to get lost. The parents just sat there drinking beer.

Normally I would say everyone should get a second chance , but any adult should know that behaviour like this on a plane is unacceptable .
Bet you all fantasize about having tasers... Quick "Bzzzzt" for the rowdy ones and they'd soon comply....
Ban alcohol in airports and airplanes and bring back national service.
The armed forces don’t want them
No majority of people are responsible drinkers, why punish them , just don’t let the idiots on board !
But we arnt at war lol
Shut up mate.. you go on holiday to enjoy yourself.. not everyone behaves like this
Oh shut up .
Classy britts on holliday...what a lot
Honestly, it's embarassing.
Oh dear wish they didn't sell alcohol at airports and on flights. Hope its not like that on my flight
They shouldn't but I guess there is SO much money to be made. Money over safety and customer experience it seems.
@@MallorcaUnderTheSunI also hate how they advertise their 'in the air discount' on cigarettes! Even cheaper than in Spain they said.. very poor taste on their part.
Less than three hours more realistically .
I agree but unfortunately it is about getting as much money from alcohol sales as possible !!
Exactly, although from the chanting, I'm guessing they were all off to Magaluf. Even so, Magaluf has become a more family destination. Just :(
The common denominator is British people, not alcohol. Europeans do not behave like this on flights.
@@tortozza itsthe minority of british people unfortunately, dont for one minute believe its just britain all countries have undesirables like these
British people make mess everywhere because they are drunk all the time
Can you also imagine being someone who is scared of flying watching this as a passenger ?
I really do not see need for alcohol at airport or on plane
Unfortunately this appears to be the norm now,, it's got a lot worse since everyone has started travelling again, I've fallen out of love with Mallorca now because of what it's become and the people it's attracting, it's so sad, some people don't care about anyone else now and are extremely selfish in general
Oh no how terrible was that!Hope you are well Alex x
It was Simon. Yeah, doing good excpet for the extreme heat this evening. Hope you're doing well!
All too common nowadays. That wasn't just one idiot either. A few intoxicated morons on there. Alcohol should be banned in airports and on flights as this is getting ridiculous. No need for it whatsoever. Anyone drunk should be refused travel too.
I agree. They threaten this with signs around the airport but what I couldn't believe was that they were still serving alcohol on the flight.
Jon
I'm all for banning alcohol in airports and planes, I know its not the majority that abuse it but its the majority that suffer from the minority.
Ban alcohol on all Brit flights and have breathalysers to stop anyone boarding the plane drunk. I’m a Brit as well.
@@frannyp46 lol
How awful, the culprits should have their passports confiscated for life. It makes you ashamed to be British! Thanks for sharing as I will avoid Ryanair if they have no control on their passengers :(
That was absolutely dreadful. Never experienced such bad behaviour, awful for you & all the other passengers. They should'nt be allowed to board in that state. 😮
Absolutely they shouldn’t have been allowed to board
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun and not be refunded the cost of their holiday and flight . Some people will only understand when it hits them in the pocket .
Sorry to see this spoilt your flight.. we came home today and thought that the airport eating quarters were disgusting too.. so untidy with rubbish everywhere🤦🏻♂️
Sorry to hear - probably due to the volume of people coming through
I think records should be made by staff into an international database of disruptive passengers so airlines can see passenger history
That would also be a fantastic idea. I have a feeling this exists though for those they ban. Possibly.
I have never experienced this , but normally travel with Jet2 . I dont know whether you get a better behaved class of passenger lol !
i suffer from anxiety on airplanes and being on a flight like that might cause me to suffer a panic attack. this is just horrible, not everything in life is getting drunk and partying. such superficial people and disgusting attitude!!!
these people should be prohibited from going on airplanes
Agreed!
No alcohol.
Interesting and yes, airports should be dry zones. I agree.
This is what you get when you interbreed 😂
Sadly I was badly assaulted on a Pegasus flight manchester to Istanbul left with severe concussion syndrome cannot drive for 6months,life changing injuries thanks to a 25 stone drunkard who knocked me out May 18th 2023,no apology from Pegasus airlines
OH MY GOODNESS, I am so sorry to hear this. Disgraceful behaviour
So sorry that happened to you
Glad my wife hasn't seen this video.
(she's a nervous flier)
Thanks for the video
I'm going to make a follow-up video and website article with some tips for her - just looking through the comments on this. I think it's important to be prepared on the off chance you get idiots like this on your flight.
Always fly with Jet2 never once had anything like this sorry you had to endure that
We had a one guy in a group of lads coming back from Portugal last year on Jet2 but it was obvious even his friends were done with him.
What a flight Alex
I think the flight attendance just give up on them
I think you are right.
I was on a flight like that from Birmingham to Cyprus 15 years ago and that was on the way out!!
I can imagine the way back!
@@MallorcaUnderTheSuna family holiday for us too! Kids were 8 & 6 at the time. Party goers heading for ayia napa
Spot on!
What about a trap door under the seats ,any trouble and the captain simply presses a button. Can't see anything wrong in that personally.
😂😂😂
😂 LOL!
Love the content on this channel of Mallorca!! But this behaviour is Absolutely ridiculous & should be dealt with.
Thank you so much and I agree!
We fly regularly with Ryanair - trips have always been excellent.
I'm not suprised that the Mallorca government wants to go upmarket after this sort of behavior. What will these people be like at their resort.
Would an update on mosquitos be possible? Lots of talk on the forums particularly alcudoa.
Hi Matthew, I did an update a couple weeks ago... check a few videos back. With a jellyfish update too.
As a nervous flier, I would have had such terrible anxiety on that flight!
I've never been on a flight like that. Shocking behaviour.
There was literally no escape from it. I saw kids were getting upset too. They didn't care though.
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun The world is going mad Alex..
do you remeber how much was the flight?
im looking to book flights for august for 4 and with orange company(the cheapest) are just over a grand...just thinking if worth waiting or will go up even more...🙁
It was cheap - it was Ryanair, last flight on the evening and mid week - cheapest time to travel! I booked a couple of weeks before going because I can be flexible on dates
@MallorcaUnderTheSun ok...thanks...yes latest flight is cheap even with easyjet but you lose the first day of your holiday in my case, as i don't live there like you...
Jesus christ, I'm Australian and this lot make our bogans look like saints. Bali is our equivalent and none of my flights there have been like this 😂
😂
The end result of years of no discipline and respect to others
Yep! Decades, I would say.
I'd be terrified. People are dreadful.
They should of stuck those animals in the hold. Drinking then flying before both your nuts drop is never a good idea.
This kind of nonsense happens on so-called "proper" airlines like British Airways too, it should be said.
I was still gobsmacked after seeing the lads in front of me pay €9 each for a minature bottle of vodka and a can of Fanta during the flight... ...
Oh my goodness, so not just my flight then! I honestly don't understand why they just can't wait for a couple hours before starting their holiday!
Please don’t get drunk, but we’ll sell you drinks for 2 hours. Only the British 😂
This is why I never fly bucket shop airlines, Ryanair serve alcohol to people knowing they are already drunk.
They do!
Oh my goodness, what a horrible lot, sorry for your bad flight experience.. I have never tried anything like this, hope I never will 😅 thank you for the video Alex 👍🏻
I wouldn't put it on my list of recommended things to experience 😜
Oh my god that was such bad behaviour never seen that on a flight
It was the worse I have seen too, and I'm always flying back and forth to the UK
Old Chinese proverb" If you cant hold your drink, hold your tongue"
ha, yes!
Never ever.
i believe alcohol should be banned on flights, also should be breath checking when boarding
That why ejector seats should be fitted 😂
😂
You get what you pay for....you wouldn't get this on British Airways or Lufthansa.....
Only ever flew Ryanair once to Salou. Never again. We always travel Jet2 to Majorca
Ah, the ''jet set'', don't you just love them???
In the UK we have paid a huge sub-class of people to just breed indiscriminately, without needing to take any responsibility. Education institutions are forced to teach at the lowest common denometer, and the population is dumbing down. What do we expect.
I suppose it's what you get from "cattle class " ryan air!!!
Sorry to say that, that's the typical behaviour of 20 something Brit holidaymakers - same in my island Corfu...
Just confirms why I won't fly a budget airline, especially Ryan Air, can't be arsed with this sort of hassle !
This is what happens when you sell plane tickets at the same price of a weekly bus ticket.
Yep !
That's disgusting, imagine having small children on that flight. X
Oh my goodness, I'm sorry to hear about your experience too. And yes, it's completely embarassing to be British sometimes when you see this. :(
This happened on my flight during school holidays about 30 years ago...... luckily i managed to land the plane safely 😂
I remember a fight on our flight to majorca it was disgusting
Lot of the youths have lost the plot. In Portsmouth recentley the lads are swimming in front of the hovercraft turmoil. The guy at the end of the ramp telling him to keep it clear for there safety and there telling him to get lost. The parents just sat there drinking beer.
here is an idea. no bars at airports. it would save us all a lot of head ache
Very good idea on this basis!
How awful for you. We are visiting Majorca soon and would like to know what Son Servera is like when it is NOT a market day. Are there any shops there and places to have tapas?
Hi Alex I'm not a big fan of ryanair used them twice that was enough for me I always use jet2 have a great weekend d ❤
