Will you also do an all guitar/bass rundown? I'm interested in seeing your collection since you had some quite rare Ibanez guitars a few years back and tons of Mayones now.
Just a note. I used the Pro40 for years, hundreds of recordings. It's reliable, clean flat response. I just swtiched to the Burl B80 mothership and it has changed my musical life. It's so good it's like starting over because I'm hearing things I've never heard before with music. It's one of those moments that is so effecting it takes you back to why you started it in the first place. As potentially trite as that may sound, those moments don't occur too often, let alone as a result of just a piece of gear. I don't know if the Burl was what I was looking for, or if it's that good, or both. I just know my approach to music has been transformed into a higher level of creative focus. Pardon the philosophizing, but with as much first class gear as you have, the converters are very much one of the keys to your recorded sound. Just a suggestion, excellent setup BTW. Have a great day.
I have been waiting for this since you announced it on instagram! I am starting to built a little home studio too, so great inspiration! Happy new year!
Awesome studio for an awesome musician!! Do you have bass traps in your room? If so... can you do a tutorial about making the panels and the bass traps? Cheers and stay this good!
Thanks for this John. On the Rubicks Cube thing...as someone who learned to solve one (no brag, I think anyone can learn it quickly), don't ever open that thing...even less, scramble it. Even if you know easily know how to solve them, the probability of the stickers ending up back in the same orientation is minimal. Pretty unlikely. Essentially, the cube will be "solved", but it'll look like a work of Picasso...that kind of thing doesn't matter with the standard solid color blocks, but with images, it doesn't pan out like expected... Nonetheless. Happy New Year, dude. I know im not the only one excited for more JB jams. happiness and health to ya in 2018 sir.
Great setup. I was struggling to chose between Torpedo live and studio (I didn't know if the studio was ideal to use on stage, but it has much more options + dual cab options), but thanks to you, no more doubts.
Thanks for the tour mr. Browne and happy new year to you! Funny thing about Zaor, before I ordered my Miza M I tried searching for some reviews of Zaor products, but found very little, which surprised me a bit. I've had my desk for a few weeks now, and I'm impressed by the quality considering the price is under 600 euros...
hey if you like stones you should get a quartz rutilante, but be careful only care it while you are composing, if you carry it in your daily basis you will be kinda nervous and sensible almost all the time, lapis is also a pretty dope stone for creativity, and always use onyx for keeping negative energies away.
If you can ever get your hands on a Bryston 4B do it. I've been using mine for YEEEEAAAARRRRS because my dad used to work for them and it's probably THE most solid piece of gear I own.
Intel I7 4770k (I think...) 32GB Ram Gigabyte motherboard - can't remember model name SAD drive for operating system 6 x 1TB drives separating samples and recording Radeon video card - 2GB I think Corsair Obsidian case XFX PSU - I think it's like 1400 watt
Hi John. First of all.. very nice studio ;) Can I ask you where you got the red light skull? I've been searching for one, but most are toys or vodka bottles with no light.
Gabe Hill it's fairly old now but Intel I7 4770k (I think...) 32GB Ram Gigabyte motherboard - can't remember model name SAD drive for operating system 6 x 1TB drives separating samples and recording Radeon video card - 2GB I think Corsair Obsidian case XFX PSU - I think it's like 1400 watt Will probably upgrade next year as I've had it since 2013.
Thanks for ur time John.
My favorite guitarist of all time \m/
Yaaaaassss you finally did it, Im so happy for you John!
Been waiting for this one for a while
The bit about mortgaging the house to get more gear... and the tone throughout, was cracking me up. Thanks, John!
Lovely video, marvelous studio! Thanks for sharing it!
studio goals
Happy new year Browne!

That’s definitely a sick work space. I’m pretty jealous of those Mesa racks.

Dan Conti
You can't scramble it, though. Every time you make a move the section of the face you moved would be replaced by an identical one.
Thick !

big thicc daddy
Happy New Year, John!
Great setup.
I was struggling to chose between Torpedo live and studio (I didn't know if the studio was ideal to use on stage, but it has much more options + dual cab options), but thanks to you, no more doubts.

Sweet studio JB. I’m building one in a spare room now smaller than this so live it up.

Could you do a video detailing how you go about dialling in a good guitar tone for recording?
Please release these instrumental versions! They sound epic
Cool stuff bro u really care how ur music sounds 🤟👌🏻

I wanna see a rundown of your live rig dude that would be great
Hey jhon good vídeo and happy new year !
Big Boss John, tell me something, how do you feel about standup desks? The one's that we can regulate their height
If you can ever get your hands on a Bryston 4B do it. I've been using mine for YEEEEAAAARRRRS because my dad used to work for them and it's probably THE most solid piece of gear I own.
APoniat but dude for the price of a Bryston 4B I could buy some monitors other secondary monitors that wouldn't want to make my ears bleed.
So sick! What types of picks do you use???
Great video John! What about your computer? Mind sharing the specs on it? Happy 2018 :)
Intel I7 4770k (I think...)

Great video John. You didn't mention any room treatment ? Did you treat your room at all ?
Yan Braslavskiy yes sir toward the end of the video!
Sorry John, is your signature pedal Pandemonium an overdrive, as i know, or is it a reverb, like you said in the video?
Hi John. First of all.. very nice studio ;) Can I ask you where you got the red light skull? I've been searching for one, but most are toys or vodka bottles with no light.
Hey mate,
You can buy the glass skull from amazon, then just buy a separate light base thats not too long to fit inside!
@@JohnBrownemonuments thank you very much :)

How big is your room? I just picked up a pair of the A77x's and not sure yet if they may be too much speaker for my room which is 11.5 ft by 11 ft..
What was the material you said was in the panels? Look killer!
Tamerlane Official Rockwool.
This was a Boojie video! LMAO
John are u using the ZOOM UAC 8 on windows?
With all this gear and falling salaries, I feel I will be getting older much sooner before I could afford the smallest part of it.
What chair is that?thanks
what chair is that?
Hi John, are you going to use the TC-50 for live shows with Monuments?
Lorenzo Ercoli potentially, was planning on grabbing a 2:90 and using the recto pre though.
I guess it' a matter of taste since they're both great amps.
Maybe with the TC-50 solution you sacrifice a little bit of headroom for an easier setup.
Lol why would some dislike a video like this
JOHN WHAT RANKS ARE YOU IN RL? hahaha i play so much
Octavian Malcolm only really play three's, was Diamond 2, dropped a bit though...
dude add me hahaha i just lost diamond 3 in 3s and i'm diamond 2 div 4 in 2's. steamcommunity.com/id/afriskypotato
