$29.99 is a fine price, maybe it's better to say wait for patches or the season pass to drop, than wait for a discount. It's the age of $70 games and this is a huge IP and they could have charged more or locked season pass behind another $30. Appreciate the video as always.
That's very true, unfortunately however, the game has foundational issues that a patch or season pass won't drop, it's lacking in some design areas which is ashame, I was excited for this. It seems I've been nicer than most to it from what I'm seeing
@@SwitchCorner how much Lee way is this game getting because of the property it’s based on. I think other titles would get destroyed in this state if they came from original creators.
There is only less than an hour of actual SP humour in it in the story anyways.

Might grab it eventually I did enjoy the other two South Park games. Most of the issues could be resolved with a patch update. I’ll hold off for now tho.
I doubt anyone will play online, so I’ll wait for a sale because I’m actually a little curious to see what’s going on in the story
Been playing online since it released, plenty are playing. I will say if you play online choose hard difficulty, 4 people on normal isn't balanced. Bosses and enemies drop so fast if everyone has a strong build. And quick clears gets you nothing in this, rushing through maps and not looking for chests or currency will hurt you drastically if your trying to unlock everything. It definitely needs a few patches but I'm having fun with it and looking forward to what they have planned for future content. I think it's being unfairly compared to Stick and Fractured as those were full price and very different games. I don't know why people are expecting the same from a game that's half price from the start. The criticisms I can agree with is there's no really crazy/absurd SouthPark moment, except one I guess . The overall tone seems really dialed back from the show. And another thing that's unbalanced is combat, ranged is superior in every aspect and now I rarely find myself using melee attacks unless the enemy is almost dead and right next to me. I do like the story and running around locations from the show, and with the kinda random paths (albeit not many) I'm still finding new areas and interactions I didn't see on my first few runs.
I still wanna pick this up. Maybe when the PS5 disc goes on sale.
I unfortunately had a feeling this game would be a disappointment. Kind of wish they just stuck with the RPG formula which worked great. Might give it a look after it gets a steep discount and all of the content is out. I suspected that the $30 launch price might reflect a lower quality outing given the previous South Park entries were full price games.
It looks great on switch. Just need to fix the out of sync issue
It's funny. I was excited for this game as well until a couple of weeks ago when I realised it was priced at a lower amount than I expected, which made me hesitant. More so because I thought it meant it was just going to be a really short game as opposed to one of lower quality, but I'm more likely to give this a miss now.
Love the potty humour we get with South Park! It’s a shame we didn’t get local co-op tho. Looks fun might grab it eventually.
For 30 bucks, it's not bad to give it a shot and I definitely plan to. I know some people who would join me in an mp session.

Both a pro and a con to this series is that each game plays different from it's previous one. Unfortunately this game definitely feels rushed and not as polished. So I'll probably wait a big sale or not get it.
I’m actually really enjoying this game . Still really a beautiful fun and funny game that totally accomplishes his purpose
I may get this when it lowers to $5 lol. The gameplay doesn’t look like something I’d enjoy as a single player only gamer.
I was also looking forward to this game. Unfortunately, too many negatives for me to get it at the moment.
I mean its okay I guess, but I rather welcome another SoT or Fractured but Whole type SP game than this. It was a nice try for a rogue like, but it just doesn't hit the spot like the other previous games.

Nah just a hub location where you choose your mission and can change your weapons etc
I pre order it take GameStop 30 minutes to find my copy.they need more employees since there gonna be the only place to get game in the future. So far the game is cool only for the fans I guess .it's getting a lot of hate but 30 dollars for a new game is fair

South Park isn't my thing so I'm not concerned anyway, but I still admired how South Park games were actually good, rather than half-baked drivel counting on the license to boost sales. Just hoping this is a hiccough rather than a trend...
I'm disappointed and I've not even seen much about this game yet, but the 3D visuals just look so much worse than the 2D art style of the last 2 games. It just makes it look so much cheaper.
I would love the game if it was set in the 2D frame we know from previous instances...but this time its not turn based but we go around and hit thing in real action fighting...combos, special attacks, magic, weapons. We earn cash to buy new attacks or combos.
I got turned off when I heard Roguelike. This just isn't the type of thing for a 3d South Park game.
I have never watched the South Park cartoon. I dont know what its all about at all.

The game looks alright but really you should watch the cartoon! 26 seasons and some specials and still one of the funniest shows I have ever watch. Always pushing the envelope of what is acceptable on TV
