Of course, like, Tom was brought in knowing nothing of this, and like, wasn't exactly a fan, but it looks like working on these movies *made* him a fan, maybe not like a huge absolute nerd, which is completely valid, he doesn't have to be that, but a fan nonetheless. That's nice.

Tom has such a love for his work. You can tell he gives 100% to all characters he portrays.
Venom could have quite easily been a quick cash grab, silly comic book role for a lot of actors, but he deconstructs Eddie Brock/Venom and searches for the character behind all the surface layer elements. To top it all off, he has a knack of never sounding pretentious, just a dude trying to do his best.

🤔you know what I was thinking in order to better convey the realism aspect of a person coming in contact with the symbiot they should wet Toms hair to make his hair appear more sweaty from being covered inside of Venom (which i’d imagine is a warm humid environment) the forehead could have beats of sweat and the clothes should be moist from artificial sweat or sprayed on water to better convey trapped moister and Eddie being sweaty after being covered in the symbiot goo
