Your leathercrafting is outstanding. The fact that you can talk so naturally on camera while working is a great indicator you're a natural at what you are doing.
Well done to your 500k milestone. You're a pleasure to follow.
Not sure I've ever given feedback on your videos themselves, but I love that most of your videos are low-key and casual, but still tight and polished when it comes to the commentary and editing. I also like that the camera is always on the leather, and showing details of how you work with it; plus, I think it shows a lot of humility that you emphasize the leather piece more than make the video about yourself. That said, this was a fun video to watch because it was even more casual than normal; it actually felt like watching a friend work while having a beer.
Thank you for all of the videos--I've learned so much from them. Congrats on the milestone, hope to see you hit another one even quicker!
I am addicted to watching and listening to you work. Thank you so very much for all you do. Greatly appreciated and truly inspirational.
Being so generous with your leather crafting skills is so greatly appreciated. I’ve tried lots of new techniques after watching your videos. And thank you Weaver, too.
You make skiving look so easy. I've ruined countless pieces of leather trying to thin edges like that lol. Keep up the great content. We'll be here watching and supporting!
Need very sharp edge to get good result.
The sharper the better
Sharp tools do good work. But also I randomly came up with an experimental technique a little while ago you could try: take a V-gouge, set the depth how you want; along the edge that you plan on skiving, score a parallel line where the skiving starts and a deeper line at the halfway point between the edge and the other line.
In my experience it helps start the skive because of decreased resistance as well as establishing a physical guide :)
@@Shamanscircle1 That's a good suggestion will try it out .Thank you.
My grandfather made just about anything with leather, and also was a furnisher. He sadly passed away before he could teach me anything. This channel is slowly giving me the confidence to try and pick it up. Thank you so much! Everything on the channel looks awesome!
Congratulations for achieving such a milestone.
Your part in the resurgence of leathercrafting is far greater than 'little'. Congratulations on 500k subscribers! You're teaching a lot of people! :)
What a beautiful Nag! Thank you for your efforts to educate.
That skiving.....mesmerizing....
I love your work. It's been 30 plus years since I've done any leather work. You've helped me start back into it. Thanks.
This is a perfect example of where you'd benefit from a laser cutter, cutting out that template. The more complex the shape, the more time you save with CNC
Congratulations on reaching a half-million subscribers! Since I started my leather working journey a very few months ago, you have been true inspiration to me. I watch most of your videos several times to make sure that I have a good understanding of techniques and tools that you are using. Please keep posting these outstanding videos!
I am also a leather crafter and have learne a lot watching you.
You deserve all these subscribers.
🤗👍

I’m happy to see that someone else noticed the Weldwood thing. I also can’t stand the aluminum can. They keep gluing shut and I can’t open them. 😂
I just enjoy watching you do all these amazing leather products and can see how you love your craft! In fact, your videos always inspire me to do something nice and beautiful! Thank you for all your amazing hard work! And, my congratulations on your 501K (as of Sept. 10, 2021) Subscribers! Can't wait to see the nexy part of the bag! Greetings and Blessings from Kazakhstan!
Wow. Great stuff Eric. I switched to Master's contact cement because of Steve (Bedo's). If it works for shoe repair/reconstruction/restore, it will work for my little leather goods. I have used Aquiline 315 (German made water soluble contact cement) for my projects that get close to skin. Not sure why. I guess I see water soluble cement as being safer than solvent based cement. Still bang it with a hammer. Thanks for the videos. Learn a lot from you. Kaleena? is great with the camera.
Great job guys 👍
Congratulations on the 500,000. Theirs no doubt in my mind that is rookie numbers compared to what you're to achieve!!!

Loving this build already, cant wait for the next instalment.
Congrats on the subscriber numbers - great channel with great content - thank you :-)
So glad I found your channel! Big congratulations!!!
Love it! You folks make great patterns, products, and content. Congrats on the achievement! Also great tip about centering. I worked in a picture framing shop/gallery and we always called it "weighting" when leaving the bottom a bit heavier than the top. But yeah, drives me nuts to see mats cut with even borders because like you said, it just looks wrong when you stand back.
Same here. I'm an amateur photographer and that's what I was taught as well. When I mentioned it to my mom, an artist, she said she didn't actually measure, but now she realized that was what she was doing.
Since you use the disposable X-acto blades I would recommend that you take a pair of needle nose pliers and break off the first 1/8-1/4" of the tip of the blade it will make it much stronger and less likely to break. Also if you Strop the blade as you do your skiving knife it will make it a sharper and much more useful blade. You should also find that if you strop from time to time that you will get a lot more life out of the blades. Not that they are expensive but nicer on the environment to save where you can.
Congratulations! Your work is awesome.
Awesome Work! Hello from Austin Tx!
Congrats man. I love the vids
It’s the second watching of this video, I’ve had a white light moment with the handles.
I have a beautiful piece of veg tanned for the handles against a darker bag body.
Watch twice maybe 3 times before cutting.
Trying to build along.
500,000, well deserved recognition
Very nice!

Congrats. You, Chuck of Weaver , Little King Goods and other channels inspired me to make my own leather wallets. Greetings from 🇵🇭

Hairless cats are a lot happier hanging out at the house now that they're full grown! Raz is always at our feet while we're filming :)
