To make this pattern you will need a sharp knife, 1,2-1,5mm hole puncher, or pricking irons or awl. Also, you will need a hammer, 2 needles, paper tape and a home printer to print this pdf template. If you want tools you will need also acrylic paint, a swivel knife, and beveler stamp optionally.
Materials you need:
- around 0.2 sq meter of leather (2.1 sqft):
- preferred about 4oz ( 1.5mm) leather
- preferable 0.8mm polyester waxed thread
- 2 buttons / snaps
- zipper

Maybe, the crafter should back-stitch 3-4 stitches when finishing each seam as well.......?.....Then add heat to melt the polyester thread......if it's Tiger Thread?

Why? Are you familiar with hand saddle stitching at all? Somehow i just don’t think you are! There are lots of RUclips videos available that will show how it’s done!
