The MULE mechanics makes that terran can max out fast on only 3 bases. Liberator, mines, tanks kill hundreds of units just by existing on themselves, zero micro, zero attention to them. Ghosts counter every high tier units in the game with either EMP of snipes. It is, even for terran themselves, the most frustrating race to play against. If the balance council does not do something in that regards, many will uninstall with the next patch.
Cure might not be the best at microing individual marines but HOLY crap does he know how to set things up en masse and keep tabs on a freaking huge push. Also playing vikings was a game changer - Zerg couldnt have their cake and eat it too with the Bane and Ling flood and blinding clouds. Always satisfying watching swarm Zerg turn into red mist in front of superior Terran firepower :)

back in SC1, flash would build like 4 turrets at every single base and goes straight towards zerg without having to worrying about the base, not sure why no terran in sc2 ever does that against a zerg with muta, the mineral investment will be a lot cheaper than constantly getting units picked off, and the terran can actually push out without wasting time after 1/1 was done
It delays your expansion, the mutas will just move around to poke somewhere else, or zerg will just take the chance to expand freely knowing you are investing more time to build turrets. Static defense can help you against drops and harassment, buy if you have to slow down for every base, your opponent will just read it, skip the muta and go full groundzerg.

There's a Fiveper build that does exactly that in a couple recent casts. (its five because that comes out just as fast since you have two barracks at that point, and it adds a little more room for error and a little more danger to queens)

Widow mines are ridiculous. Astonishing they've gone by this whole time without nerfs. Annoying to even watch. They should cost 1 more supply and have at least .5-1 less range than the average ranged unit so you can shoot them with vision. They cost nothing, are invisible, do back to back aoe explosions, can be made two at a time, and cant be fought 1v1 with the average range unit even with site you just have to sacrifice something first to fight it so it requires a bunch of apm to even defuse. Just dumb all round and thoroughly abused in lower leagues. Cant even A-move fight them WITH vision with standard army comps because they have same range as rine or roach. Take some range off, it wont effect mine drops in mineral lines but they wont be so apm intensive to fight.

Mass marines are countered by tier 1 banelings. Marine tank medivac is mixed tech and it is insulting for Zerg to expect to get away with not advancing from ling bane to counter that. Surprisingly it works sometimes as well. As usual a smooth brained saltmine lacking critical thinking in the comments

Widow mines are ridiculous. Astonishing they've gone by this whole time without nerfs. Annoying to even watch. They should cost 1 more supply and have at least .5-1 less range than the average ranged unit so you can shoot them with vision. They cost nothing, are invisible, do back to back aoe explosions, can be made two at a time, and cant be fought 1v1 with the average range unit even with site you just have to sacrifice something first to fight it so it requires a bunch of apm to even defuse. Just dumb all round and thoroughly abused in lower leagues. Cant even A-move fight them WITH vision with standard army comps because they have same range as rine or roach. Take some range off, it wont effect mine drops in mineral lines but they wont be so apm intensive to fight.

Yet again, Zerg is shown to require T3 units and multiple spellcasters in order to counter marines. Solid game balance.
Mass marines are countered by tier 1 banelings. Marine tank medivac is mixed tech and it is insulting for Zerg to expect to get away with not advancing from ling bane to counter that. Surprisingly it works sometimes as well.
