Still junk fishing, throwing jerkbaits, and the new z-man Gobious. I like the old 🐖 n jigs especially the newer compact finesse ones when it gets tough. I switched to 6-10 lb test from my normal 12-20, but I'm in N.Florida. It was different when I lived in N.J. but still remember one winter when I was killing them on a buzz bait in the middle of a snow storm in January.

Fishing everyday almost and I've been landing some 4lbers on a chatter bait, crank bait and believe it or not on a wake bait and a whopper popper and of course a spinner bait. Since the cold has arrived I've caught a variety of sizes, but there hasn't been one day that I haven't landed a 4 or 5lber everyday in the cold and most day I catch at least 2 big bass. Also a straight tail swim bait on a Willow size chatter bait.

I still bank fish my friend's private lake once a week in the morning. I only caught 2 this morning and only a few the last month. It's been really slow but I still go. In the spring and summer I will catch sometimes over 30 in 1 morning and giants every day.

Depends on the type of body of water...1) lake with alot of cover= Jig n craw or slow roll a spinnerbait 2) deeper, clear water & not much cover= suspending jerkbait or swimbait
