battery life and display being scratch resistant is very good reason to upgrade to ultra. I honestly didn't feel bothered by size, i even slept with it on my wrist once and didnt realize watch was there.

The extended battery life over the regular Apple watch is a huge feature.
The regular Apple watch needs a bigger battery and more life.

I have an old Apple Watch 6 I think it is. I’m wondering if the 2 is worth it now? Or should I wait til whenever the 3 is out? I like that it has a titanium casing and some other health features and stuff.
I have a modest watch collection & the Apple Ultra is surprisingly getting more wrist time than I expected. It doesn’t have the character of a Tudor Pelagos, Breitling Navitimer, or Omega Speedmaster, but it’s designed for function rather than accessory appeal or fashion.
People complaining about the price at $750US crack me up. You can barely get a Tissot PRX Automatic for that price … the Ultra is a bargain.

Should I go for it? I’m coming from a galaxy watch active 2 and want something comparable to that one. Also I’ve never had an Apple Watch before. I’m on my first iPhone ever too.
Double tap is just one of the greatest thing ever !!!!!!!!!!! While having a text message, a call, skipping the song ! Incredible, not only about the ultra 2 but thinking more about the series 9

Let me tell you a secret: I’m a watch collector and all my watches are 44mm, which in the world of Swiss watchmaking is a reasonable size for a large watch. I used to own. Panerai PAM194 in titanium that was 48mm but the way the watch was designed helped hide its size. Once at a restaurant I saw a woman wearing the same exact Panerai and it looked so good on her. Charlize Theron wears a Rolex Deepsea which is one of their biggest watches and it looks great on her. A friend of mine who sells Rolex watches recently bought herself a Rolex Pepsi and she looks like she owns the store. Bottom line, I believe that women look better wearing men’s watches than men themselves do. In your video the Apple Watch Ultra 2 looks great on your wrist. Sometimes the mind plays funny tricks. Don’t let that happen

I would say get the ultra 2 because of the s9 chip, it will support more future updates like double tab.

Is it possible to keep the display from dimming? I want to be able to enjoy the beauty of my watch at all times, not only when I wear it and for the few seconds it brightens up after I point it toward my face, as is the case with my Series 6.

I have a SUPER small wrist but love big watches! I’m thinking of getting the ultra 2 as my SE just went dead after wearing it in the jacuzzi! Arrrrg! I am athletic and feel like it suits me even tho my wrist is teeeny! We shall see how this goes. Thanks for the review!
I'm 6'6" so I just bought it for the size. Other watches look small on me,
I am NOT doing extreme sports but I do a lot of hiking in the mountains and my old watch used to run empty half the hike which is extremely annoying. The constant use of GPS and cellular was too much for it, ridiculous measurements for hight distances were annoying. The EKG function is extremely cool (as a doctor I plan to use it also for patients to catch a rhythm, you can even recognize a past heart attack on the pattern if you know what you’re doing. I am sold, never looking back. I also love the big display and I don’t care about the looks all that much.

I bought the ultra it was over kill. I only used the features which I used on my series 8. the price also made it easy for me to return the ultra and get a series 9
Can you swim for more then a hour in it?
The only thing that makes me want to switch from the regular Iwatch to this one is the battery, sucks to have to recharge it every night and sometimes give it a boost in the middle of the day when I'm using the cardio sensor. with that said, for how long does the battery last on this?

The last watch I had was the series 7 about a year ago and I loved it unfortunately I had to sale it but I just picked up a ultra 2 yesterday it’s amazing it’s so well built and just does so much I’ll never be without a watch again I think my favorite feature is night mode I love that red look it’s no way I can go back to the regular models

I’m a wood worker I work in a shop with lots of dust and more very active sweat blood and even tears would this watch work for me lol
For the battery life alone, it’s worth it for me and the bigger screen also. I’m very active and I’m always on the go so for the battery life alone it’s worth it for me. I don’t want to always worry about having a charge my watch every 10 to 20 hours like I had to do with my Apple Watch Series 6 from which I upgraded from The most I have gotten out of it after doing a test is around 2 1/2 days then I had to recharge it. Yes it is a chunky watch however, I like big watches and again like I said, I like to be able to see everything that is on my watch screen much easier to read messages and to type on so for me it is worth it.

Been thinking about getting one what’s the battery life? I’m currently getting about 10 days battery life on my current smartwatch so after 10 days my watch is still at 22% is the ultra similar in battery life ?
The Ultra’s battery will last you about 3 days.

In 2024 the garmin epix 51 mm is the king 👑 no other watch comes close , the watch ultra looks like a cheap $10 dollar square gadget from the family dollar store , or like a mini ipod on the wrist, 🤭 and charging the battery everyday is a nuisance

@@jragon9215 well when the actual face of the watch is wider than my wrist it doesn’t make sense to wear it. Using this for health and fitness and the actual sensor wouldn’t sit properly on my wrist. Besides I can’t dress up big and bulky watch on my small wrist.
