bruh if ur music doesnt pop off u should go to college and become a music professor or something, ive never seen videos so easy to understand and watch, learning a lot. and im pretty sure ur like my age or even younger so its wild how good at teaching you are
Dang I thought this would be for edm production, but it's for rap beats. Still really useful info; I think any EDM producer should learn how to make a trap beat.
@@jahcica you cannot. You get knowledge from being taught, the XP comes from actually doing it. The knowledge only aids your way towards higher XP, but it won't replace it.
@Tombou Actually sound selection is much like casting in the film industry. No matter how good your script is, the movie would probably be "meh" if you choose bad actors. Kind of a wasted potential. So get yourself an instrument range chart, so you can learn the place of each instrument on the frequency spectrum and the role of different frequency ranges. It's basically like in cinema, you cannot have 2 main characters in the same movie, it would be confusing. So, Some frequency ranges for example : 📳Sub-bass (31-63 Hz) = rumble/weight/thump/floor/chest (heavy 808s, noise inside a flying plane, acoustic pressure, hum, etc.) ~ C1 to B1🎹 🎸🌡️Bass (63-250 Hz) = punch/energy/warmth/boominess (bass guitar "meat", kick, 808's tone, etc.) ~ C2 to B3🎹 🚿Low medium frequencies (250-500 Hz) = fullness/room/box/ambience/muddiness (pads, chords, wet reverb signal, snare "meat", etc.) ~ C4 to B4🎹 📞📻Medium frequencies (500-2000 Hz) = honk/radio-ish sound/metallic sound (telephone effect, snare whack, chimes, melody, countermelody, nose, vowels, etc.) ~ C5 to B6🎹 ⚡High medium frequencies (2-8 KHz) = crunch/bite/edge/attack/spike/ssssssibilance/definition/presence/harshness (shakers, snare bite, cymbals and hihats, consonants, treble, etc) ~ C7 to B8🎹 ☀️🌬️High frequencies (8-20 KHz) = Pierce/air/hiss/treble/definition/sssssibilance/harshness/brightness (sweet background noise for Lori and chillout, etc.) ~ C9 to B10🎹 Please, feel free to correct me where I might be wrong.
yo i gotta question, how much time do you take in between cuts to form those melodies? like you say what you're gonna make and what it should sound like and then it cuts to you recording the chords, i was wondering how long thinking of the progressions takes for you? love the vid btw
I have a question.when organizing the counter melodys when would be a good time for the counter melodys to come in?I been just adding it in the hook and then in the verse no counter melody. It sounds good to me.
Bro can you do something using subtle arp sounds like on the chanel go get it beat or future codeine crazy. Not sure if they put gross beat or something on them
I got a question bro . When you bought fl did you buy the producer bundle and if you did do it come with synths like the one you used in the beginning or did you have to download that separate ? Iv been using logic for about 4 yrs now but I wanna transfer to FL
I think it has a sakura demo along with fl keys, sytrus, morphine and a couple others or so u can still pretty much use Sakura just Edison your melody once you make it (do this for gross beat demo as well lmao)
Great beat. I hope you will not be affended but the volume of your voice in your videos is low, the music is the correct volume it needs to match, I hope that was helpful. I think your videos are great and look forward to the next one.
"If I would've had this when I was maybe 20 , I'd be a millionaire right now". Nah that truth is If you work really hard & really care about perfecting your craft you will make it

Juice Wrld🖤
how did you fixed the notes fast and properly after recording your keyboard? or did you just do it one by one?
Bro Is it allowed in music theory to put note out of scale?...coz i see you doing that
music theory is just guidelines not rules. You can do anything that sounds good
What camera and mic do yo use to record your RUclips vids?
Camera: iphone x, and a behringer mic

For a minute I thought this was internet money
what is the software package being used to create these melodies and chords ?
Are you talking about FL Studios ?
Wouldn’t really call that marimba layer ear candy, that sounds more like the main melody / chorus melody
Stack the Layers

Jermaine D same voice is fine
The beat is nice and all but this didn't really teach anything though...
You didnt quantize those chords on purpose?😂
