Those prices are criminal. I used to love card shops, I despise more then everything now. I understand “they have to make money” but, since card shops can buy from the main distributor & get the lowest deals, they should be law have to sell only at a certain amount mark up. Seeing shops that cancel preorders once they find out a product is flipping for way more. Then they’ll resell the products for 2-10x it’s price. Makes me sick & wish this was more of a thing
I’d recommend hitting up shops in the San Fernando valley like We Can Be Heroes Comics, Toys of the Universe, GameTower, LA Sports Cards, Paper Hero’s Games
Maybe Sun & Moon was different but I’d always heard (& epxerienced) that you cannot get hits from sample packs. They have reverse holos but that’s about it
