Dude. Check my Twitter and Instagram or RUclips community page. I ride this thing twelve miles total a day. 6 to work and 6 back. I love it!! I go 40mph the whole way and it takes me 12 minutes to get to work and 11 to get home (because of hills and going 45mph down them). I only loose two bars. I charge at work. Ride home, then ride to work, then charge. So I don't even pay to charge this thing. I freaking love it.

Thanks for posting the video. I have the V2 60V. That thing is a beast. I'm not sure why but my Phantom goes much faster than the listed top speeds. I'm doing 20 mph in 1st gear, 38 mph in 2nd gear. I haven't even touched 3rd gear and probably won't. 😂
As for the braking and using turn signals, I actually don't use my braking very often, or at all unless I'm travelling downhill. Once you ride your scooter enough, you get this 6th sense as to when to take your thumb off the throttle and the scooter comes eventually comes to a stop.
About gloves, not only do they offer some protection in the event of a fall, but they also protect your skin. My hands got so dry and cracked from riding in the cold, so I invested in a pair of gloves.
Dress for the slide and not the ride. During my first week of owning my Phantom, I had my first (and hopefullyast) accident. I wasn't armoured up and I had only a bike helmet on. I was traveling quite slow, thankfully, when a dog jumped out in front of me. I braked hard and flew over the handle bars. I wasn't seriously hurt, but I did get some cuts and scrapes. Now I dress in full motorcycle gear, meaning pants, jacket, gloves, and helmet.
Another thing to factor is inertia. At higher speeds, even taking just your thumb off the throttle and not using your brakes, the scooter slows down faster than the rider. Make sure to push against the handlebars, otherwise...ouch!
Anyway, sorry for my long comment. Ride safe and have fun! ❤

i really appreciate the long comment! Gave me a bunch of useful info and yeah... in full gear, a slide equals a bruised ego. Without gear, a slide equals: by by skin!! lol. I think 2nd gear is my sweet spot too. They finally got my serial number issue fixed today and I can use the app to it's full extent. Plus they updated it today, to finally support the v3.

      Great comments.Thanks.
At sudden braking you must lean back & shift your weight towards the back.Ride safe.

This scooter is very stable up to about 35 mph you should not get issue going that fast. And Ludo is about 10% more torque than mode 3, so if you tried mode 3 you won't be trown off the scooter in Ludo.

How do you like it now? Any issues? How tall might you be? I tried it, liked, but at almost 6’5” I couldn’t help wishing for taller handlebars, but still think about it 😂. Especially the regenerative braking and thumb throttle felt right.

How do you keep it clean? Mine is covered in dirt haha. I wish I could spray it down but that wouldn't end well!
I also notice the bell is a bit hard to reach.
I pretty much ride around exclusively in mode 2 as it's plenty quick. I'm more worried about killing myself or pissing someone off than I am ripping around at top speed. Nice range.

I have the 60v version and the first thing I did after riding 100 miles I purchased PMT tires and It literally made my scooter 10 times better I sugest all Phantom owners should buy PMT tires best upgrade I ever did.
