Pls this is my question ma,after first oil come out,can I add another water for more oils to come out or no need,I just need to continue mixing till d remaining oil come out, bcos I added water to the last one I did, my Kulikuli changed and it dry off not even showing sign of oil again and I tried adding more water maybe oil will still come but it’s turn out watery kind off so when I fry it was looking like Akara inside oil and after frying not crunching atall
There is no need to add more water at that point. The oil has already begun coming out, so you need to keep turning at that point so that the rest of the oil can come out.
Thank you ma. For this amazing video. Ma please, after mixing and the oil start coming out and you pack the oil out and put in a bowl. As one continue mixing is it advisable 2 still add water after you extracted the first or you or you will continue mixing with out water since you've pack out the first oil. Please clear me on this, thanks
When the oil has started coming out already, there is no need to add water any more because at that point, it's has already formed the kuli kuli so adding water will make it watery
Sis weldone Sis, kulikuli is a lot of hard work especially if you are not using the modern day cooking equipments, but please try to improve on the ingredients you add to your groundnuts, it takes it to another level, fluffy and soft kulikuli will also make you more money, weldone! Weldone!
When I went to grind my groundnut was looking like grounded egusi instead of turning to a paste but when I added water it’s bring out oil but my Kulikuli was not crunchy
Hello ma'am, I noticed after frying, the kulikuli has some oil on it and some were soft I mean not hardened. Pls what could be the cause ma. I'm learning. Thanks for the video
Onion is not among the ingredients for Kuli Kuli. Also, what type of pepper did you use. And when mixing, it takes lot of time for the oil to come out.
Am going to add water to it on bender when grinding it Because the one I did now is not good at all is watering and it not coming out very well Please help me out .
Please ooooo help again oo I grinding the groundnut and I roasted it but the groundnut oil didn't come out And I try to fried it but everything done destroy and scatter inside the oil I used Please help me out ooo
Thank you for this video. I tried doing mine but the oil refused to come out, so am asking how do one know when the frying is okay so as not to over fry the groundnuts
You're welcome. You will know the groundnut is fried when the color changes a bit. I don't mean like it getting burnt color but the red color of the groundnut becomes more reddish. You can check the complete post on my website for a detailed explanation using the link below; www.deesmealz.com/kuli-kuli-how-to-make-kuli-kuligroundnut-cake-peanut-snack/
Well done ma, I really appreciate the video! Plsss can I use blender to grind it? Also part of the ingredients! Is it chilli pepper u use? Thanks.... The groundnut I have is fried one....
Thank you ma🙂 Unless the blender is strong enough to blend it to be very smooth else I won't advise using a blender. I used dried chili pepper. I don't know about using already fried groundnut ( do you mean the type used when taking garri?)
I also added Sugar and Ewuru(in Igbo) or dayan miya(in hausa). But the Ewuru is not compulsory. The frying is just for a while. You take it off the heat when the coats begin to break and be careful when frying the groundnut so that it doesn't burn. Because it burning will change the taste and color of the kuli kuli.
Wow just amazing, sorry it is coming 2 years after this video was posted, what type of grinder did you use, normal big engine tomato blender or those ones they use to blend crayfish?
Thank you Ma'am. I used the big engine used for grinding tomatoes and the one I used is particularly used for grinding peanut alone to avoid it getting mixed up with other things.
Thank you for the detailed illustration. Pls how do we know when the oil is completely dried up and what is the quantity of water that should be added.
You're welcome. You will know the oil is completely out when you keep mixing and no oil continue coming out of the kuli kuli by then it will also become very strong and also the water added should be very little depending on the amount of kuli you will be making. So I will say in between 200-300ml of water and the water should be added bit by bit. You stop adding when the oil begins coming out.
Thanks for the video. I tried making mine but it didn't work. I turned it for over an hour yet oil didn't come out and it melted when I attempted frying it that way. Could it be because I fried my peanut completely dry before grinding? Please help. Thanks
Thanks so much for ds video, please u roasted just half of the groundnut did you later add the remaining half u didn't roast. Secondly, 1 tier is equal to how many milk tin. Thanks
Madam thanks for video clip.pls Are we going to grind the groundnut separately,I meant the roasted one and the fresh one. 2.which one are we going to grind with water,or we will grind all together.
You're welcome. 1. You are supposed to just use roasted groundnut for the kuli kuli. 2. It's more advisible to use a grinding machine that is only used for grinding kuli kuli paste. And just little water is needed. If not, the paste will turn watery. And wont be useful anymore.
Waow! Thanks for the very detailed illustration. Looks like it took a whole day to make it though and the whole process requires a huge laborious and physical effort. Not for lazy cooks like me 🙂....
@@DeesMealz yes I used a multi purpose machine, but it was thoroughly washed n much water was not added. My whole effort was wasted. But I'm willing to try it again but can I possibly pound it with mortal

Yeah that is the reason. And also next time, the engine used for grinding should be washed very, because reminant of other food ingredients, can cause it to flop. And also when grinding, avoid putting too much water.

If your blender is strong enough to blend it smoothly, then you can use it.

Is it cold water that u added or ht
It's room temperature water.
When I went to grind my groundnut was looking like grounded egusi instead of turning to a paste but when I added water it’s bring out oil but my Kulikuli was not crunchy
Like egusi? How was it grinded? It should be cause the oil wasn't squeezed out.

Please help oo am doing it now but is not hard is soft what can I do now not to waist my money

Well done ma . Pls is the rice chaff for frying the groundnut and for making the kulikuli too or just for frying the groundnut ??
Thank you Ma.
The rice chaff is just for frying the Groundnut.

I used dried chili pepper.
I don't know about using already fried groundnut ( do you mean the type used when taking garri?)
This is the best kuli kuli recipe hands down. I used Kraft all natural smooth peanut butter and it came out excellent.
