Angie...I first saw you on RUclips , in your movie " Deadly Inn " . Love that movie...BTW...Anyway...Your acting is absolutely fantastic. There isn't a throw away expression in ANY of your scenes. I would REALLY like to see you in Hallmark movies , like with Lacy Chabert...You're ALL as good and valuable , as an actor , as she and anybody else on Hallmark is. And...Last , but not least...you , taking the time to help aspiring actors out ,with your advice , etc...is sooo admirable. You DEF have a FAN , here ! The world needs more people like you. God Bless
Hi Angie, It's been a while. Glad to see you back again. Missed you and hope you're doing well during this pandemic time! Take care, and stay safe! 😉 - Allan
Thanks for sharing the truth. I'm an actress in NYC and things have slowed down here too. I would suggest that people save their money and also keep training in the meantime. No one knows what's going on. Stay creative at home. Ride this out and pray 🙏🏽💕😊
Nice video! In short and I agree with Angie here: LA is freaking expensive compared to other markets now. Atlanta is a huge market for making movies/TV but mainly, it is CHEAPER to live and be an actor there to START. Right now (summer 2021), DON'T come to LA to START your acting career. Actually, now is the PERFECT time to TRAIN where you are (smaller markets than LA) and learn the craft so when things are back to full swing, you have as much training done and you are ready to go pro at a larger market like LA. Full disclosure: I live in LA and I have started my acting career. BUTTTTTTTTT the reason I can start that is I have a PROFESSIONAL DAY JOB that allows me to financially support myself for my basic needs and take classes (remotely of course). So to add to before, if you want to come to LA for acting, it is wiser to come for a day job that FIRST supports yourself and your acting training, than trying to book roles without representation. Trust me....this film/TV industry is already hard enough....come to LA having secured your living needs first then consider acting. Best of luck to all.
Your RUclips videos have taught me a lot! I’ve been in Tennessee since the pandemic and am now trying to decide if I should stay and do acting in Atlanta, or if I should come back. I lost my momentum out there :/
Hi Joan! I think it depends where your resume is at. If you need to build It up with more co-star credits, Atlanta's a good place to make that happen! :) Things are definitely getting busier in LA (not quite back to normal though!).
I decided it was worthwhile to get new headshots and give acting another go because I'm optimistic there will be more opportunities in my market(Cleveland) in the near future .
In my experience, every little thing you do builds up toward something else. Even a series of headshots, and learning what you want, what to spend, how to pose will inform your decisions down the line. Having "been there" before when the next situation comes around will always help.
Thanks for your content, Angie! I'm already in LA and I think you painted an accurate picture. If you don't already have something like this, maybe you could make a video where you talk about things you wish you'd done when you first moved out, aside from taking class? You touched on it briefly here, and I think it would be interesting.
I miss your videos and appreciate your upload and insight! Could you make a video on other places you think would be good for actors to move to if not LA? (Post Covid)

This was not discouraging or negative. It was HONEST and that is very much appreciated ❤
Welcome back! Glad you’re okay 👍🏻

Glad you are back Angie! I love your personality!
I went to Stella too, only in New York ❤️
Also was literally asking myself this LA vs NY question this whole week, so thank you!
Wow Angie lookin great! Keep the fam safe and thanks for the honest advice- very selfless of you, and good luck!
Move to LA? No way. Move to Atlanta. Atlanta is the new Hollywood with one tenth of the cost.
thank you!!

Thanks Emily! I would say Atlanta is the 2nd best option. Unless you're more into theater, then definitely NY.
Almost moved back to LA (have rep) from ATL. Feel like maybe staying in ATL is best for now. Miss LA.
May you make a video about some good acting classes in LA ! If you do so it would be really appreciated 💯
Already did! :) ruclips.net/video/-A0iq5ZiEAA/видео.html
Angie, have you been listening to the Entourage podcast, Victory? You should guest on it!
I should probably watch the series first! :)
Yeah as long as everybody is safe 🙏 actors are not really acting now
I can’t stand when people get negativity and honesty mixed up, stop being so sensitive people!
Thank you. Would love to network.
If only people on the outside could see Los Angeles for the unforgiving meatgrinder that it is.
