With my Romanian roots I can confirm the utter love for pickles and especially for pickled cucumbers. That’s something never missing from our house. We may not have eggs, but never a jar with pickles.

Some places come to feel like home because the time we lived there was formative, even if it is objectively not a long period of time. Paris feels more like home to me than where I actually grew up, and I only lived in Paris for 6 months!

Lol about the valences. Every older American knows exactly what you are talking about! Truthfully, they seem to be really out right now at least in the U.S., but were very popular in the 90s. Most everybody now has long linen type, flowing curtains, but no valences. Maybe valences are coming back in. I always liked them!
I really love them ✨ Older homes here in the UK used to have them but most people got rid of them. I think they add a bit of charm especially in older properties.

Can I please ask a question about Boadicea The Victorious, Empire fragrance, I think I may have been given a fake 10ml travel size. When I sprayed it, it was really sweet, tart and cheap, I have let it dry down, and it hasnt changed much 😢

My signature scent has been Chanel Chance Tendre for the past 12 years, and I love it, but wanted to also have something more gourmand to wear and feel yummy.
Since you both seem to share my love for Chance Tendre, I believed that listening to you would be a safe bet, and i was right!
I got myself a bottle of Burberry Goddess, and it's so diferrent and yummi and still matches me but in a different way.
