Thank you for this. I've been using SS for years. While my editing skills are more advanced now, it's still my go-to editor when I'm traveling (or was traveling) because it's quick and I don't want to spend a lot of time editing while I'm vacationing. I still like the "Snapseed Look" as it works for the "feel" I'm trying to achieve particularly for landscape shots.
Yeah even without any sort of file management it still manages to be a really quick editor. As someone who is experienced and proficient with Snapseed, what made you watch the video?
@@David_Addison Because I'm always learning something new. Take curves for example, never really understood how to use them properly. You did a good job.
So glad I could help! The half ‘tutorial/half review’ refers to how this video is neither a full review or tutorial but a bit of both. If you have any requests for another Snapseed video though please let me know 🙂
@@David_Addison Haha my bad 😓 but this video was really helpful especially with the curves because I had no idea, but if you want to do more videos explaining curves I’m all for it. Thank you 😊💖
This was the first app I ever paid for , think it was £2.49 at the time and I thought long and hard about it before I took the plunge lol ! Don’t use it as often these days but it’s always one of the first apps I add when I get a new device
Thanks for a great video! Just one question. Can this app edit each color separately? I mean like with the HSL/Color panel in Lightroom. Extra question. If you could only use two or three apps for editing your photos, which apps would you pick? I'm stepping away from DSLR-photography, and I want to use only my phone for all my upcoming photos and edits. :)
No, there's no HSL in Snapseed. Adobe's suite of apps is the obvious answer for most people but it depends what you require, how you like to work etc...
Hi David I’ve just found you on You Tube and have enjoyed your videos. I tried to find your group on Facebook but can’t. Is that group still up and running?
With 100,000,000 downloads, there's a high chance you've tried Snapseed. If so, what's your favourite Look or Tool?
affinty phot/lightroom or this? Just subbed

After watching your Snapseed review, I started to use it again!
Great to hear!
Well done, David. Thanks.
Omg I just downloaded it. Thank you so much for your video, I can’t wait to the other half of the review 💕✨

Just found your channel and it’s great information, thanks 🙏

Just a note... it is free because Google use the data to train AI to automate photo editing, understand taste per region, age group, etc...
Interesting. "When something is free, you're the product" I suppose.
great video. I use snapseed since a while, its great for what it is. The perspective tools could be a bit better hehe, rest is awesome.
Thanks for a great video!

what is your main mobile editing app as of right now?
It’s still good on iOS, although it hasn’t been updated in over a year.
Yeah I saw that. iOS probably isn't at the top of Google's priorities!

Hi David, thanks for watching! Yes, I vehemently dislike Facebook and thought I could put it aside for the group but couldn't.
Love it but at the moment is relatively useless because Snapseed is not able to edit ProRaw pics only Raw pics
Thanks! Snapseed can edit ProRAW but it’s an inconsistent experience. It handles some files fine, but others it presents like trash lol
