After 30k hp go for em, after 350-400 em go for hp. You want a good balance between both. Once you're near 30k(27-33k) you should at that point just try to get as much crit and em as you can. Unless if you have her cons then maybe you might want a bit more hp.
And for good balance you need good artifacts
think EM only need 250 , no need to big . max 300
@@denischai1872 Em hard cap is near350-400. After that it's a waste to go for more. With an em sand you should easily have 200 em with 27-33k hp

@@mxch475 Considering your at your recommended hp then yea its fine. But you're always going to want more. Realistically you won't hit the hard cap for em. So you kinda want to push as much em while keeping 27-33k hp. Unless if you have Hu Tao C3, R5.
important to mention that there is extra buff from Homa depending on HP, so if you don't have Homa the difference between hp and em will be way more substantial

@@Fatimashah2000 choosing between hp and em with the same substats I'd choose hp, but in any other situation just choose the one which has more crit and em/hp in substats
@@Fatimashah2000 actually if you already have both hp and em just try both because I guess it depends on your other artifacts and your final stats and it i impossible to say straight which one is better, also if you play with sucrose you can put hp without thinking
@@ShrimplePrawn ok so my hp sands doesn’t have good substats only def and atk and i have like farmed for 2 months so I don’t want to waste any time in cw domain and my em sands has 14crit rate 16 dmg so what should i do ?

I got amazing pieces with EM and tbh it's more valuable than HP% or even crit dmg, I'm trying to keep her personal EM below 400
but yea with around 361 EM, 32K HP and 61 C.Rate /255% C.Dmg. My Hu Tao hits the 100K Vaporize with just my team.
361 em and 32k hp is the ideal number bud, I did weeks of testing and above 370ish em, I noticed a massive decline in the damage curve
Conclusion: select what you like or the one with better substats (and balance it)
Just go for whichever stat you need most. 100 em is the minimum amount, but around 180 is ideal. if you already got 100 from subs/weapon then go hp.
My HuTao is with 123 EM, 33k HP, 59/196, im just AR50, so I haven't had time to farm much yet, she's is with homa, does it seem acceptable to you? I still want to improve it
The best team for hu tao , hu tao , xingqui, yelan and zhongli - two hydro on ur team Affected by Pyro for 40% less time. Increases Max HP by 25%
The HP bouns is good for hu tao, Yelan and Zhongli.
nah replace that zhongli with fischl or xiangling for just more damage

I'm having fun with Hu Tao, Yelan, Furina, and Baizhu. I was doing Yelan Xingqiu Zhongli since it's so popular but when I swapped in Furina (mostly just since I want to use her) I realised I desperately needed healing and happened to get really lucky getting Baizhu. Plus his shield helps survivability a little with everyone being brought down to 50% HP and Hu Tao going even lower.
Not sure what's meta but it's fun having extra damage from Yelans hydro application, off field damage and hydro from Furina plus a buff to Hu Tao, and then Baizhu even gives a handful of dendro cores so Hu Tao can trigger them for a little more damage still.
Hmmm, for me it would most likely be HP sands with EM substats better than EM with HP subs though

@@toomanynewweebsthesedays8019 they cant really cant ? if u using bennet for battery its really dumb cus hutao doesnt need that much energy to burst or if u use him for his healing she dont need or the atk buff its not that great cus u get healed... if u using him with her u prob dont understand anything....

She could be used with shogun but I wouldn't recommend it. You can use Dragons bane

Hu Tao doesn't get any benefit from Raiden and vice versa
She's better paired with Xingqiu
It's fun to use her with Raiden, just use Dragonbane when paired with Raiden . I did used that combination one time, It was decently good at killing enemies
But Her main pairing is Xingqui, Then after that you could start playing around with the team comp around her like throwing random character to see how it works.
