- Asphalt 9 has always tried to make different kinds of special events, and the Road Test was, definitely, one of them. What started as a potential new event ended up as a small, more expensive Drive Syndicate. As a result of that and other reasons I'll explain through this video, the Faraday Future FFZero01 dissapeared. Will this car ever arrive in a new update, season or special event? Let's find out the odds!

The road test would appear again, maybe not really the same but maybe with little bit different.
Because Drive syndicates are for key-cars, but road tests can be for either key car or key-cars.

When Road Test appeared for the first time I was quite surprised that FFZERO1 got added and might get a chance to claim it as a collector...
Little did I knew it was a DS in disguise and quickly hit behind a paywall.
In terms of performance, of only it weren't for the bad handling, this car would've been quite competitive against other similar cars with it's fast acc. I played with it during the trial run and it struggles too much on corners but it's top acc quickly recovers the speed, but not quite enough.....
Now for the Road Test event. When it ended for the first time I thought I won't be getting the car back, then the event came back weeks later (this happened like 2-3 times iirc) hoping that one day I'll reach 85 cards and ultimately unlock the car, but alas, the event never returned and have about 35-ish cards.
The car does look stylish and cool design (it became one of my favourites alongwith Vision 1789 and others). Hope the Road Test returns, but I think the claim approach might be different from the usual one....

Ok, if Road Test does return, I’d better not see that paywall. Remember, once it was featured in the patch notes, I was watching Augila Negra on past Research and Development event in A8 to see what to expect. Because I was on Switch and could bring some extra features in quick race and split screen. So if Faraday does try to make some profit, then I guess the FFZERO1 could be an option for players who have finished the Starway cars. It just needs to be buffed in drift. But for now, it’s up to the company and Gameloft. One more thing, I’m the proud owner of the MC20 without spending $10 for the legend pass.

Very weird since you said Toroidion been frozen too. I think I saw yesterday a screenshot from Chinese A9 Fordzilla event, they have Toroidion there. Is it possible we will have it too in ours? Or A9 China doesn't froze anything

This car feels like a challenger srt8 but s class, it has good top speed and acceleration but extremely bad handling and nitrous efficiency (as far as i remember)
Ye so the only thing in common w the Challenger is the bad drift radius
Old road test: Pay the most money for the least value car😅
I was hoping it would get punted to Showroom if the road test Event was scrapped but if they do bring it back through a future regular lower tier SE like the Battista, Regera, Chiron etc.
Just buff the drifting a bit to make it semi-viable.
The A8 version is just "perfect" and I never regretted spending an ultimate upgrade to MAX it. 😎👍

There is currently Devel spam in multiplayer on windows 😂. 3 Devels per race in legends league. I still beat em in my 4 star Agera RS.😁

I didn't know there was an exploit, but that explains the stop. Personally I think it's an ugly car and not very TD friendly. I just got the bps every time you could get without spending so it's now sitting at 37/85...
About the Toroidion: it's now a support car in A9C in a Fordzilla SE, so apparantly the company is not bankrupt enough 🤣. Also: it shouldn't matter if a company is bankrupt or not, at some point the licenses will be owned by someone and GL (or any company) could still get a license via the person/company.
Ye the thing is that A9C kinda does whatever they want, things do not work the same way as on the global version
@@CarsOnGamingthat's certainly true. But in terms of licenses they would have similar restrictions. If Toroidion would be really on hold in global because of bankruptcy issues, why wouldn't that be in A9C? Some cars don't appear very often in the game so I'm inclined not to draw conclusions from that fact alone. It's different than the Mazzanti and Inferno's which aren't even visible anymore unless you own the car (in my case I have a 3* Mazzanti, I still have the Inferno bps in my inventory but can't see the cars anymore).

Faraday ffzero1 is for sure pay to win or needs more than 1 billion credits to max the car. Not affordable for everyone 😡
Yeah the faraday future is like not bad but not good cuz it is not the same as the stats as asphalt 8 one and btw if the jesko absolut made it in 9 well...🥲
