  • In this video, we take on the exciting task of rescuing a rare 1972 K5 Blazer 2WD that has been sitting in a greenhouse for over 30 years. The K5 Blazer is a classic and highly sought-after SUV, and this one is especially rare because it is a 2WD model.
To get to the K5 Blazer, we had to cut down several trees that were blocking access to the greenhouse. It was a tough and time-consuming job, but we were determined to rescue this classic SUV.
Once we finally reached the K5 Blazer, we carefully removed it from the greenhouse, taking care not to damage it or the greenhouse itself. Once it was out, we gave it a thorough inspection to assess its condition. Despite being covered in dust and cobwebs, the K5 Blazer looked to be in remarkably good shape, considering its long confinement.
In the end, we were able to successfully rescue this rare 1972 K5 Blazer 2WD from its long confinement in the greenhouse, and it is now ready for a new life on the road. We hope you enjoy this video and stay tuned for more exciting adventures in car restoration! Be Sure to follow along for this K5 Blazer's journey as we decide what direction we are going to take this extremely rare SUV.

That's a bucket list ride for sure! I would maintain the patina but make it run and drive like a modern muscle car! Looking forward to seeing more of it!

I have a factory 1970 2WD Blazer which was the first year for a 2WD ( 982 was the production number for 70s ) not sure how many 71s were produced but they definitely are rare 🙌. Probably more 2WD Blazers out there now though with all of the 4 to 2WD conversions that have been done 🤔

Awesome find! If it's number matching I would leave it all original. If not do whatever you want without cutting it up to much. It is still a rare find tho.
