I have all the farthings you mentioned, plus a few of the other denominations (including the 1932 florin). Very useful video and fun to think that people could come across some of these by chance
I knew that my 1905 F/VF 1905 half crown was a key date but it seems that I vastly underestimated its value. Therefore I could have underestimated my other key dates by using a well known coin database site. Good job I've not sold any lol. Many thanks, great video.
I have the 1841 half crown, I think in very good to fine condition as we would grade in the US. I paid about $500 for it about 3 years ago. I don't have any of the others, besides that 1887 crown you showed at the end, but I don't recall if that is a scarce or low mintage date.
Thanks, very informative. The only coin from your video I have is the 1828 six pence. I do have a few Crowns some of which have quite low mintages, eg 1844.
The only one's i haven't got are the three penny's the 33 ...52...54 and the 1945 three pence...however i do know where three are buried The church of st cross in Middleton The second is buried under the foundations of st Marys church in Leeds And the third is under the Bloomsburg building in London...I reckon a excavator and a bit of luck and i could have one in my collection, But for now i have a 1933 coin filler😂😂
I have 2 crowns in my old coin tin they came with 1st WW medals. They must have been my great grandads who was born in 1877 and fought in WW1.
Very nice indeed 💯
