    Bukky Shonibare is a blessing to us in Nigeria. After listening to and watching her analysis, a sincere government would change its mind to do something better for its citizens.

    It is my sincere belief that in Nigeria today, that several of our Societies issues can be addressed through the study and practice of Human Ecology which is the combination of 3 main subjects:
    1. Clinical Psychology
    2. Clinical Physiology and Medicine
    3. Environmental Management and Sustainability
    When we have fully addressed all these issues above, it could go a long way to address several underlying issues in this our Nation including;
    1. The issues in the Nigerian Health Sector
    2. Issues in the Niger Delta and the Oil Sector
    3. Issues to do with essential industries including Agriculture, Education, etc.
    4. Issues to do with Security in all Sectors.
    Human Ecology can work for this Nation when ever the proper framework can be developed and implemented.

    Our refineries should be made to work and more refineries built. This will bring down the cost of fuel.

    Transparency is key!!! For example,
    Subsidy is gone more than a year ago, tell your citizens, gains made by that, what you have done or intend to do

    To the honorable madam, the question that I have which I may not get direct answer from is this, as a lawyer and a human right activist, where does the right to protest end? Is it for those that for the protest alone or those who are against it? Are both position not protected under the law? In an election for example where you have the masses voting for one person you going to have people who will vote for and against at the end they would all have vote based on their choices and they have exercise their democratic rights. Why is that when it comes to protest like the one going on, those against the protest because it is against the government are singled out even are also exercising their right to protest. If the guest had not taken a stand to support the protest she will not be talking about the anti-protest group being brought from somewhere. Protest all over the world always have pro or anti group protest it is normal and expected. The reason why it is necessary for obtain permit to protest is based on the expectation that the protesters are exercising their right to protest and the government is required to protect the protesters. You cannot just have a large crowd of people gathered in a location carrying out activities that will impact the movement of people and business activities, therefore with a permit the government will automatically provide the necessary protection. This is the process everywhere in the world. There is nothing like implied permit when it comes to large crowd gathering in a location that would impact movement and normal business activities. When the president campaigned on the "Renewed Hope" agenda I think he knew how he was going to carry that out and ensure that every action taken would reflect new hope. In this process there bound to be hard decisions to be made that comes with pain for a while before the hope is eventually renewed. The president has seen and witnessed the weaknesses in the country before he decided to seek to be the president of the country and he personally acknowledged during the campaign that he knew what he was was getting into and hence he designed his campaign and manifesto to match his objective and plans for the country. For the first time in Nigeria this the first president to be attached in always up to street protest right from the day he was sworn into office till just fourteen months in office. Nigerians expected problems that have existed in the country for more than two decades to be overcome in fourteen months, how practicable is that? Nigerians want only the symptoms of the problems to be treated as opposed to the route cause. Nigerians expect much and are impatient with the president. No administration is inspired by constant criticism in all accept of their efforts. This is exactly what this protest portrays to the outside world.
