You mentioned wanting to get some tips for p-ranking the first prime sanctum, and I've actually been working on that myself! Me and a very close friend of mine have been fighting against Minos for ages (although he P ranked him on Violent a lot faster and earlier than i did, haha). But I have some tips that make the fight a little less agonizing to go through! These all work very well, it's just mostly me having to put them together for the perfect run at this point, lmfao. Anyways! My opening move against the Flesh Prison is to cover it *completely* in oil using the Firestarter variant of the rocket launcher, and *then* malicious nuking it. It takes out nearly ALL of the eyeballs instantly and does a *huge* amount of starting damage. After that opening move, I focus on taking out the eyes first (mostly using splitshot on marksman coins-- essentially, shooting a coin when it shines / sparkles) before doing overheat and regular saws magnetted to the prison repeatedly until it dies. One thing to keep in mind that is when it does the homing projectile attacks, it is giving you essentially free heals. As for Minos Prime, when his soul orb is falling to the ground, I'd reccommend setting up two sawblade magnets in a figure eight pattern where he lands-- that way you can do an insane amount of starting damage to him right after you finish his monologue-- which, you can skip right after setting up the figure eight. During Minos' actual fight, my best strategy against him is to keep moving, learn what attacks he will do after calling out (he's basically giving you free hints at what he's going to do!), and when low on health, set up a safe area using sawblade magnets and overheat saws. It will give you heals and do passive damage to him when he's walking to him. Also, jumpstarter during these moments will be your best friend if you can actually pull it off! I wish you so much luck on practicing P-1 and I hope P-2 isn't going to be as painful for you!
Although at this point you've already P ranked P-1, I always like to go through everything repeatedly and whittle down my times and try to improve on what I notice I do wrong. You are doing really well so far for just getting into the game! Congrats :)
6:54 You can usually kill the “common variant” of the Cerberus with a railcoin in one shot, NOT the boss version. The “common variant” is when they appear later as regular enemies, they have way less health compared to when they’re a boss. The exact numbers are 22 HP compared to 80 HP. Edit: Same thing with when you tried to one-shot hideous mass; you can’t one shot the boss version with a railcoin because it has more health.
when you fight flesh prison, don’t aim the core eject at the mouth, do slightly above on the like stem going to the ceiling, it kills more and deals more damage to flesh prison. after that, deal small amounts of damage to prison and when the it does the cyan flash, immediately deal as much damage as possible, since during that attack it can’t spawn its minions until it finishes. the green bar under its health is how long it has until spawning its minions again. for minos, don’t overcomplicate it. learn his attacks, and also learn when you are able to parry them. don’t have to use fancy tech, just use piercer revolver and shoot at him when you can, maybe hit with a screwdriver railcannon for overtime damage and healing. take this from someone who p ranked everything on brutal difficulty
The technical name of the "face monsters" is Malicious Face, but they are lovingly referred to as Maurice. Also Minos's dialogue can be used to predict his attacks. Following each line a specific pattern is executed and most of them are parryable. Not only do they deal a shit ton of damage it heals you back to whatever your max hp is.
Some tips : Try using the slab variant for the piercer and the sharpshooter ( alt piercer does more damage and can be comboed with 4 coins and a charged shot for the most single target damage in one hit, also it restores all your hp if you hit a charged shot from close, consistent and quick way to heal, best option for restoring hp imo ), the screwdriver railgun is pretty good, also you can try the firestarter and the srs cannon ( firestarter is good for aoe and sometimes single target and srs cannon does insane single target if you dunk it ), also theres a alternate shotgun witch is extremely good ( basically a melee weapon that the faster you move the more damage it does it's very fun to use and extremely useful for propelling yourself away from enemies ), the jumpstart is pretty good aswell for crowd control using electricity ( also nailgun + electric railgun can be used for the same purpose ) I recommend expanding your gameplay loop using more weapons and combos because there are so many things you can do in terms of combat it's crazy. And I guess you can try the harder difficulties after you 100% standard
Those Minos fights were tense…. That’s what I came here for! Holy crap, GG! But you’re gonna need a lot more skill for what’s next! To quote the dev, “you think you’re ready? That’s cute.” Against the boss, saws are your best friend. Setting and continuously adding saws to two magnets using overheat and regular sawblade launcher will obliterate his health, even more so If you add the the Jumpstart saws to the mix when he actually spawns. Screwdriver is also important during this, as you will always be low on health. The endless healing is incredible. Using any type of saw mid-fight is good for damage too. Get the slab revolvers if you don’t have them already, as slab Piercer and Sharpshooter are also good. Other than that it all comes down to coin usage and movement. Good Luck, and Have Fun! (Also, yes, I know I’m early for giving P-2 tips, I just beat P-2 and I want to see if my tips are actually helpful, and he’s probably already trying act 2 as I’m writing this)
That 3-2 Gabriel kill was CLEAN flesh prison has a green bar underneath its hp bar, and when that green bar empties flesh prison heals. The green bar empties faster when you deal damage or attack it
Wsp Adrian sorry if my english is bad. But on the ultrakill prelude level there is a secret where you first encounter the yellow machine. You need to look up and there you will find a blue skull. You need to find a place to place it. Than you play the secret level. Good Luck
6:21 just a bit of clarification, iirc thats Coin Adding. Rail punch from what little I remember is basically black magic (was at least; nobody had any idea how tf it works) where you rail coin and then punch that coin and it does insane damage for whatever the hell reason.
a railcoinpunch is basically where you rail a coin through an enemy then add a coin that you then punch to add to the coins damage and have the rail go to that same coin (punching a coin gives it +1 damage similar to chaining coins and that extra damage can stack) basically making for 3 rails with stacking extra damage into an enemy for the cost of two coins and a punch (at least thats my understanding of it theres a good vid about it all by Sheba | DrFeelGood about more in depth coin mechanics)
@@enderkitty6694 I think I managed to did that occasionally. Is that the walk back, throw, punch, throw another coin into whatever you wanna oneshot, railgun? The shot will hit the enemy, hit the second coin, bounce off, hit the enemy again, hit the first coin that you punched, then home in the enemy? Or is it something else?
@@raizors1331 i think typically you punch the second coin after adding it (tossing it out after you fire the railgun) though you can also throw a coin through an enemy, shoot it with the railgun, dash through the enemy then punch the coin so functionally get two coins for the price of one. though what you mentioned could work too though sounds a lot more precise but it still gets the damage across by having multiple coins adding damage to one rail shot at one enemy. theres honestly soooo many ways to go about it just experiment and find what works for you it sounds like you have something that works for you.
Don’t forget to use your Jumpstart/red nail gun! It’s really good for clearing crowds. The sawgun version only does the aoe if there are magnets nearby, so I prefer the nail gun variant.
The music's upbeat indicates that you're still in combat and there are still enemies around. When you're out of combat, the music is slower and calmer. Also, don't beat yourself up too much dude, you can p-rank any level if you keep trying and don't give up. Have fun playing the game tho:)
I just got the game a few days ago, and I already have my own favorite playstyle. I love running around, grappling enemies into the air, and melee hitting them. I don't know why, but it feels so good to chain hits like that
Good tech to instakill a cerberus is using the cannonball rocket launcher to hit it with the ball, and then hit the ball with the parry fist into it again to kill it instantly
Another tip that might help ya is that you can split your revolver shot off of a coin with precise timing to hit 2 targets with 1 shot. After each coin toss the coin will do a little flash, and if you shoot it when it flashes it'll split the shot. The timing is pretty precise, but once you do it a few times it gets pretty easy to get the rhythm for it. My tip for practicing: if you're actually SEEING the flash you're shooting too late. You have to shoot it when it flashes, not when you SEE it flash. The split shots each deal the same damage as a regular coin shot so this trick can speed up your runs quite a bit once you've mastered it.
for minos and later on sisyphus its really useful to learn parries, I learned them by just loading up thr checkpoint 40 times without shooting, just dashing, sliding and parrying to get used to their patterns and parry timings list of my findings with minos if you ever wanna do a higher difficulty: "judgement" is parriable in the first phase, you can literally just stand still and lock in to parry it, in the second phase you can dodge it "thy end is now" ends with a parriable attack at the end the yellow dragons are incredibly satisfying to parry "prepare thyself" throws out a yellow dragon thats parriable jumping is kinda self sabotage
shotgun parries are actually different from projectile boosting; you can parry melee attacks with a point blank shotgun shot not ALL encounters are necessary for p-ranks: "Secret" encounters can be skipped. Most of these are relatively self explanatory, but theres some in 7-3 that im not sure about lol (and the 2-2 room) that rocket grapple thing is called a fup, if you're in the air and you freeze the rocket those will both increase the size of the explosion, and turn it into a red one which does double damage and can't be blocked by soldiers boss enemies generally have more health than the enemy enemies (with one exception) so you wont be able to instakill them as easily the "best" way to rocket ride is to look slightly down, freeze, then shoot and dash at the same time, and then unfreeze. this should put you in front of your rocket with your rocket aimed so it goes under you and picks you up. on most levels you can just freeze, fire a rocket, jump on it, and then unfreeze 33:05 alright who the fuck taught you deadcoining maybe you can do a coinadd instead of a railcoin: throw one coin to the other side of the enemy, and fire with the railcannon; then, immediately swap back to the marksman and throw another coin. this can have the same effect as a railcoin. alternatively, firing the green railcannon and punching it can do a very good chunk of damage the flesh prison has a resistance to nails and electricity, but for some reason not to sawblades. for this fight you may want to use overheat sawblade; plus, setting up a trap during minos's monologue can get a lot of free damage off at the start (try to line yourself up so he walks in the sawtrap's orbit, rather than through it), and sawtraps will also be good for the "Thy end is now" and "prepare thyself" attacks. the flesh prison heals when the green bar under it's healthbar reaches zero/the left side of the bar these are just things i wanted to explain from this video, if you have any questions about the game i can probably answer them :3
Adrian my friend, im glad to see you playing this game it truly makes me happy. anyways the binding of isaac when?? i need the drug content man. (also maybe check out the game northern journey after ultrakill).
Tip for p ranking Minos Prime, you can set up a saw trap when hes in his speech, and put it at least 20 blue saws and 5 orange saws, to completely make him at 1 quarter of hp. Love your ultrakill videos! Edit: The floating heads are called "Maurice". I don't know why, but its there.
if you ground pound next to a wall and wall jump mid ground pound, it creates a slam storage that you can use to either A, when you hit the ground jump immediately and gain insane height, or B, slide right when you hit the ground to hit mach 10
The massive difference in skill between the two videos his hilarious. First vid is funny cuz we see him struggle, but then this vid here is hilarious cause he’s just clearing through everything.
Just some things about p-1, for flesh prison I’d recommend time freezing 5 rockets before it spawns, then spawning it and then nuking it which, if done correctly, should get around 1/4 - 1/3 if his health done. And for Minos, I’d recommend spamming sawblades throughout the cutscene until you hear “My gratitude upon thee for my freedom.” Then spam the time freeze rockets again or railcoin him. I can’t really explain in full, so I’d recommend looking at a p-1 p rank video and see what they do for flesh prison/minos.
you must have already realized but at 6:18 you did the railcoin thing perfectly you just cant oneshot these cerberi specifically like that bcs the boss version of them have almost 4 times as much HP than the normal cerberi also for p-1 you dont wanna damage flesh prison if there are any of the little things left bcs the more you damage him the shorter the time becomes for the next heal so just focus on killing the little guys first and for minos a couple thing you can parry the last hit of "thy end is now" and "judgement" and all of his snake projectiles and specifically for "thy end is now" after the first hit you can just walk backwards and he wont hit you anymore so you can damage him and focus on parrying the final hit
theres two different railcoin techniques: theres railcoining which is where you throw two coins--one through the target and one infront of it, before hitting the railcannon off of the one through the target. the way this works is the railcannon can infinitely pierce, so when it hits the target, it shoots through to the first coin, then to the second coin, then to the enemy weakpoint. this is most effective against cerberi. the second is coin adding (not sure if thats the name), which is a lot stronger, a lot more complicated, and uses all your coins. you throw two coins through the target, and shoot the railcannon. as the railcannon is going bouncing off of the coins, you immediately swap back to the marskman and throw the rest of your coins. the reason this does so much damage, is because you are stalling the hitbox of the railcannon inside of the enemy as it hits the other coins, effectively tripping the duration. this is most useful against stunned bosses or boss fights that have just started, ex: v2 or the prime bosses. i hope this helps!! i STRONGLY suggest watching Herb Messiahs content, hes incredibly knowledgeable about coin physics, and the main reason ive gotten into ultrakill. also, dont beat yourself up!! ive p-ranked the game several times through on violent--working on my brutal playthrough--and youre doing incredible!! you have a great understanding of the weapons system and great reaction time; overall, you're a great player and an even better content creator. we love you dude!!
tip: Try slam storaging. It''s basically you do a ground slam against a wall, and wall jump while falling. This will make you go faster if you slide right after landing, or jump higher
Rocket ride is pretty simple: Look slightly down Shoot and pause the rocket at more or less the same time, Immediately dash then unpause time, All that in under a second and its an instant roket ride. Alternatively with enough space you can look straight down, shoot and grapple the rocket.
Something cool you can do is when you are up against a wall, if you slam then jump before you hit the ground, the game will still think you’re slamming while at base fall speed, then if you pair this with slide hopping, (b-hopping with sliding instead of jumping) you can go really fast. Slide hopping can be chained together. To slide hop basically what you do is when you hit the ground you slide then after sliding you jump, you want the jump to be about half a second after you slide to keep momentum. I do apologies if my explanation makes no sense.
the more you damage flesh prison, the closer he gets to healing. you aren’t supposed to damage him until all the eyes are out or else he’ll just heal immediately
Small tips: For the flesh prison in p-1, focus the eyes that do not die by a nuke, coins are the most effective. For minos, dont try to keep up with his speed, it'll only end in him destroying you (also stay on the ground) He also annouces attacks very loudly as you probably know Theres a few ways to rocket ride the ones i know being 1. freeze 2. shoot 3. jump on rocket 4. unfreeze and 1. dash 2. aim straight down 3. fire 4. whiplash the second method requires a lot of height by the way using magnets on enemies while using saws means the saws do not damage enemies so against maurice (the flying rock head) it wont do anything
um actually you can throw the blue shotgun right click then hit it with the red railcannon if you do it right they should all die or just 1-2 eyes left then you can do damage to the flesh prison for free
@@houseofsarcasm4880 thats the alternate shotgun which he doesnt have and tbh im not experienced with the alt though nukes do TYPICALLY wipe out all the eyes it can leave a few remaining and as we've seen here he can fumble em
@@houseofsarcasm4880 youre describing what a nuke is, it'll kill most of the eyes 99% of the time yes but what i said was for the eyes it could miss or if the nuke funbles
Flesh Prison heals when the green bar runs out, and the green bar runs out faster if you deal more damage to him. Whenever he summons the eyes, shoot them first before you go back to shooting FP. You don't even need to nuke, just slab swap. I didn't know core nuking was a thing when I P-Ranked Minos (on Standard anyways) Also Minos takes a TON of damage from melee parries, and his combos are very telegraphed. Once you learn to parry his combos and JUDGEMENT he goes down much faster.
for the soldier enemies that look like pepsi man: on the ground, they nearly entirely resist explosives, however midair they do not try your best to avoid projectile boosting them, use other methods (examples: ricoshots, whiplashing and using rocket, whiplash and knuckleblaster)
the sharpshooter can instakill a maurice (the stone head) if you use its alt fire to shoot it as it is shooting the orbs (you need to shoot its mouth where the orbs come from)
No, the first swordsmachine encounter is not required and is actually slower to do but the second one on the other hand is required (also do you know about rocket riding?)
Okay, first and foremost: Minos has a very strict pattern that makes him easy to predict. Let him come to you, stay calm, and learn to parry and counter his moves. Also, use core-snipes more, and use rockets more, especially the SRS cannon. It one shots a Cerberus if you can get the parry combo right.
For the coin if you shoot the coin while it is shining idk really but it would split in two parts hitting two enemies Cerberus is also easily instakilled whitout railcoining you can just use the srs cannon and shoot the canon and grapple the cannon after it hits cerberus and parry the cannon back at cerberus which instakills it for the mindflayer you can instakill by using red arm by shotgunning while it does that multiple blue attack the shotgun thing would reflect it back instakilling it
you can 1 shot the cerebrus with the cannonball if you charge it up , shoot it, grapple the cannon ball once it bouces off the cerebrus, and parry it with the blue arm when it gets close and for the malicious face you can use the red marksman and right as the malicious face shoots the red balls, you shoot the red ball and malicious face through them and it one shots them
Ever since the weapon update, the alt marksman isn't too bad. It needs a little more precision, but it looks so badass when you hit the peircer shot it does a cool spin reducing cooldown for the next shot
I have p-ranked every level except for P-2 and I’ve gotten to level 31 in cyber grind and I’ll tell you take your time learning railcoining and other tech because it take time for minos it took me like 1-2 hours to P-Rank because I sat there for about 30 minutes and memorized his move set and then fought him so take your time learning things
Best way I figured out how to kill flesh prison is use the pistol to kill the eyes because it one shots them and parrying the blue balls back at flesh prison does a lot of damage to him and use a saw trap on Minos with normal and gold saws to take away his health and use coins and rail gun to finish him off

(Also, yes, I know I’m early for giving P-2 tips, I just beat P-2 and I want to see if my tips are actually helpful, and he’s probably already trying act 2 as I’m writing this)
Adrian: MINOS YOU MONSTER
Lore: no
That 3-2 Gabriel kill was CLEAN flesh prison has a green bar underneath its hp bar, and when that green bar empties flesh prison heals.

The sawgun version only does the aoe if there are magnets nearby, so I prefer the nail gun variant.
bro not ready for "THIS, WILL HURT"
The music's upbeat indicates that you're still in combat and there are still enemies around. When you're out of combat, the music is slower and calmer. Also, don't beat yourself up too much dude, you can p-rank any level if you keep trying and don't give up. Have fun playing the game tho:)
This game is just, “wouldn’t it be cool if?”
The answer is always yes.
The split shots each deal the same damage as a regular coin shot so this trick can speed up your runs quite a bit once you've mastered it.
for minos and later on sisyphus its really useful to learn parries, I learned them by just loading up thr checkpoint 40 times without shooting, just dashing, sliding and parrying to get used to their patterns and parry timings
list of my findings with minos if you ever wanna do a higher difficulty:
"judgement" is parriable in the first phase, you can literally just stand still and lock in to parry it, in the second phase you can dodge it
"thy end is now" ends with a parriable attack at the end
the yellow dragons are incredibly satisfying to parry
"prepare thyself" throws out a yellow dragon thats parriable
jumping is kinda self sabotage
shotgun parries are actually different from projectile boosting; you can parry melee attacks with a point blank shotgun shot
not ALL encounters are necessary for p-ranks: "Secret" encounters can be skipped. Most of these are relatively self explanatory, but theres some in 7-3 that im not sure about lol (and the 2-2 room)
that rocket grapple thing is called a fup, if you're in the air and you freeze the rocket those will both increase the size of the explosion, and turn it into a red one which does double damage and can't be blocked by soldiers
boss enemies generally have more health than the enemy enemies (with one exception) so you wont be able to instakill them as easily
the "best" way to rocket ride is to look slightly down, freeze, then shoot and dash at the same time, and then unfreeze. this should put you in front of your rocket with your rocket aimed so it goes under you and picks you up. on most levels you can just freeze, fire a rocket, jump on it, and then unfreeze
33:05 alright who the fuck taught you deadcoining
maybe you can do a coinadd instead of a railcoin: throw one coin to the other side of the enemy, and fire with the railcannon; then, immediately swap back to the marksman and throw another coin. this can have the same effect as a railcoin. alternatively, firing the green railcannon and punching it can do a very good chunk of damage
the flesh prison has a resistance to nails and electricity, but for some reason not to sawblades. for this fight you may want to use overheat sawblade; plus, setting up a trap during minos's monologue can get a lot of free damage off at the start (try to line yourself up so he walks in the sawtrap's orbit, rather than through it), and sawtraps will also be good for the "Thy end is now" and "prepare thyself" attacks.
the flesh prison heals when the green bar under it's healthbar reaches zero/the left side of the bar
these are just things i wanted to explain from this video, if you have any questions about the game i can probably answer them :3
Adrian my friend, im glad to see you playing this game it truly makes me happy. anyways the binding of isaac when?? i need the drug content man. (also maybe check out the game northern journey after ultrakill).
3:33 Adrian caught trying to parry with knuckle blaster?
VERY GOOD TIP: Yellow flash before an attack means its parry-able,
When you parry: Heals fully
When Dashing: Immunity Frames
Tip for p ranking Minos Prime, you can set up a saw trap when hes in his speech, and put it at least 20 blue saws and 5 orange saws, to completely make him at 1 quarter of hp. Love your ultrakill videos! Edit: The floating heads are called "Maurice". I don't know why, but its there.
bro is NOT ready for "BE GONE!"
if you ground pound next to a wall and wall jump mid ground pound, it creates a slam storage that you can use to either A, when you hit the ground jump immediately and gain insane height, or B, slide right when you hit the ground to hit mach 10
bro went from missing 60% of his coins to hitting techs consistently, bro had a training arc
Adrian you can parry Minos Corpses fist attacks if you do it 2 or 3 times you'll beat him easily
21 secs is crazy
I hope we will see Adrian's blind reaction of P-2
lil bro is not prepared to hear tenebre rosso sangue 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
you must have already realized but at 6:18 you did the railcoin thing perfectly you just cant oneshot these cerberi specifically like that bcs the boss version of them have almost 4 times as much HP than the normal cerberi
also for p-1 you dont wanna damage flesh prison if there are any of the little things left bcs the more you damage him the shorter the time becomes for the next heal so just focus on killing the little guys first
and for minos a couple thing you can parry the last hit of "thy end is now" and "judgement" and all of his snake projectiles and specifically for "thy end is now" after the first hit you can just walk backwards and he wont hit you anymore so you can damage him and focus on parrying the final hit
Ultrakill is such a based game
Not rlly their all femboys
@@frostyhcr2680 and? that not a bad thing :)
@@frostyhcr2680 I mean look at me it ain't that bad
Can’t wait to see you do P-2 ;)
theres two different railcoin techniques:
theres railcoining which is where you throw two coins--one through the target and one infront of it, before hitting the railcannon off of the one through the target. the way this works is the railcannon can infinitely pierce, so when it hits the target, it shoots through to the first coin, then to the second coin, then to the enemy weakpoint. this is most effective against cerberi.
the second is coin adding (not sure if thats the name), which is a lot stronger, a lot more complicated, and uses all your coins. you throw two coins through the target, and shoot the railcannon. as the railcannon is going bouncing off of the coins, you immediately swap back to the marskman and throw the rest of your coins. the reason this does so much damage, is because you are stalling the hitbox of the railcannon inside of the enemy as it hits the other coins, effectively tripping the duration. this is most useful against stunned bosses or boss fights that have just started, ex: v2 or the prime bosses.
i hope this helps!! i STRONGLY suggest watching Herb Messiahs content, hes incredibly knowledgeable about coin physics, and the main reason ive gotten into ultrakill.
also, dont beat yourself up!! ive p-ranked the game several times through on violent--working on my brutal playthrough--and youre doing incredible!! you have a great understanding of the weapons system and great reaction time; overall, you're a great player and an even better content creator. we love you dude!!
For flesh prison the faster you kill the eyes the faster he heals
tip: Try slam storaging. It''s basically you do a ground slam against a wall, and wall jump while falling. This will make you go faster if you slide right after landing, or jump higher
how is he even comprehending what is happening dude this is hurting my retinas and my bones and my soul
Bro was about to cry over minos
3:33 caught tryna parry with kb
Blud isn't ready to hear "this prison to hold ME? "
Bro is cooked when he hears "YES, THATS IT!" or "heaven has forgotten my name long time ago"
Rocket ride is pretty simple:
Look slightly down
Shoot and pause the rocket at more or less the same time,
Immediately dash then unpause time,
All that in under a second and its an instant roket ride.
Alternatively with enough space you can look straight down, shoot and grapple the rocket.
the whiplash button can be held down to extend further
you can use that to extend the torch lighting when jumping down p-1 to see better
just so you know, the boss versions of enemies have more health, that’s why you couldn’t one shot them
17:41 you're telling me that you don't have to kill the "secret encounter" to p rank this level?
nope, no secret encounters count towards the kill counter
Something cool you can do is when you are up against a wall, if you slam then jump before you hit the ground, the game will still think you’re slamming while at base fall speed, then if you pair this with slide hopping, (b-hopping with sliding instead of jumping) you can go really fast. Slide hopping can be chained together.
To slide hop basically what you do is when you hit the ground you slide then after sliding you jump, you want the jump to be about half a second after you slide to keep momentum.
I do apologies if my explanation makes no sense.
"Die!"
-Minos Prime after catching me lacking on 10 hp.
the more you damage flesh prison, the closer he gets to healing. you aren’t supposed to damage him until all the eyes are out or else he’ll just heal immediately
*"P-ranking the game was not a test, **_It was a warning_** "*
-Some AI Editor Definitely
Small tips:
For the flesh prison in p-1, focus the eyes that do not die by a nuke, coins are the most effective. For minos, dont try to keep up with his speed, it'll only end in him destroying you (also stay on the ground) He also annouces attacks very loudly as you
probably know
Theres a few ways to rocket ride the ones i know being
1. freeze
2. shoot
3. jump on rocket
4. unfreeze
and
1. dash
2. aim straight down
3. fire
4. whiplash
the second method requires a lot of height
by the way using magnets on enemies while using saws means the saws do not damage enemies so against maurice (the flying rock head) it wont do anything
um actually you can throw the blue shotgun right click then hit it with the red railcannon if you do it right they should all die or just 1-2 eyes left then you can do damage to the flesh prison for free
@@houseofsarcasm4880 thats the alternate shotgun which he doesnt have
and tbh im not experienced with the alt
though nukes do TYPICALLY wipe out all the eyes it can leave a few remaining and as we've seen here he can fumble em
@@youralarmclockwastaken no alt shotgun the regular shotgun.
you throw the little bomb with the regular one then you just hit it with the red rail cannon and thats it you win
I didn't know core nuking was a thing when I P-Ranked Minos (on Standard anyways)
Also Minos takes a TON of damage from melee parries, and his combos are very telegraphed. Once you learn to parry his combos and JUDGEMENT he goes down much faster.
hes boutta "be gone" after a while
for the soldier enemies that look like pepsi man: on the ground, they nearly entirely resist explosives, however midair they do not
try your best to avoid projectile boosting them, use other methods (examples: ricoshots, whiplashing and using rocket, whiplash and knuckleblaster)
Him using the saw blade as a normal gun is just hurting my heart man
Huge W from Adrian
Boy ain’t ready to fight the damn embodiment of the sun
ADRIAN I BEG OF YOU TO SHOW YOUR FIRST REACTION TO P-2, REGARDLESS OF HOW HORRIFIC IT IS PLEASE
Adrian you should give "slam storage" a go, it's a really cool tech that give's you a lot of mobility
seeing my guy shooting Minos with the default pistol was borderline painful
He ain’t going to be ready for “YOU CAN’T ESCAPE!”
6:30 you know you're playing ultrakill right when the audio driver breaks
45:45 getting hit, especially in p-1 with just the 2 fights, loses you so much style
the sharpshooter can instakill a maurice (the stone head) if you use its alt fire to shoot it as it is shooting the orbs (you need to shoot its mouth where the orbs come from)
Adrian's gonna be an ultrakill channel now
No, the first swordsmachine encounter is not required and is actually slower to do but the second one on the other hand is required (also do you know about rocket riding?)
Bro didn’t finish his last play through and is already p ranking the entire game
Mr Adrian i Recommend watching the trav guy's ultrakill videos, REALLY good info wise and lore wise!
to rocket ride you need to shoot a rocket under you and grapple it, if you do it on any other angle it just makes you explode
Adrian reportedly caught trying to projectile boost with the knuckle blaster
Okay, first and foremost:
Minos has a very strict pattern that makes him easy to predict. Let him come to you, stay calm, and learn to parry and counter his moves.
Also, use core-snipes more, and use rockets more, especially the SRS cannon. It one shots a Cerberus if you can get the parry combo right.
For the coin if you shoot the coin while it is shining idk really but it would split in two parts hitting two enemies Cerberus is also easily instakilled whitout railcoining you can just use the srs cannon and shoot the canon and grapple the cannon after it hits cerberus and parry the cannon back at cerberus which instakills it for the mindflayer you can instakill by using red arm by shotgunning while it does that multiple blue attack the shotgun thing would reflect it back instakilling it
3:27 is so genious bc the laser hits twice
the green variation of the rocket launcher can do as much if not more damage as railcannons if you use the right techs
you can 1 shot the cerebrus with the cannonball if you charge it up , shoot it, grapple the cannon ball once it bouces off the cerebrus, and parry it with the blue arm when it gets close
and for the malicious face you can use the red marksman and right as the malicious face shoots the red balls, you shoot the red ball and malicious face through them and it one shots them
18:30 I'm surprised he doesn't know Slam Storage while he knows most of the tech, bro did it in accident and said "nah."
40:35 when you think you P Ranked a level only to look up and see that you're ASS ranked
broski is not ready to be hearing 'BE GONE"
Adrian you may like a game called Severed Steel. its a parkour shooter with some cool tech.
Ever since the weapon update, the alt marksman isn't too bad. It needs a little more precision, but it looks so badass when you hit the peircer shot it does a cool spin reducing cooldown for the next shot
Slab Machine Gun
I have p-ranked every level except for P-2 and I’ve gotten to level 31 in cyber grind and I’ll tell you take your time learning railcoining and other tech because it take time for minos it took me like 1-2 hours to P-Rank because I sat there for about 30 minutes and memorized his move set and then fought him so take your time learning things
Best way I figured out how to kill flesh prison is use the pistol to kill the eyes because it one shots them and parrying the blue balls back at flesh prison does a lot of damage to him and use a saw trap on Minos with normal and gold saws to take away his health and use coins and rail gun to finish him off
>P ranking all at Standard
Good. Now go to Violent. Or Brutal Mode if you wanted
You should use the green railgun more,it is very good for healing in bosses
Now you should play Brutal w a fresh save. 0-5 on Brutal took me like an hour when I only had pistol and shotgun, the Cerberi are SO much faster.
Brutal is crazy, humans are not meant for that
Bro is for real LOCKED IN for the P-Ranking
You should equip all your variants, notice you don’t save sawed off and jumpstart
