There are two Beasts referred to in Revelation. The first is the physical- The Roman Empire. The second is spiritual- The Holy Roman Empire- The Woman Riding the Beast in Rev 17 is The Catholic Church- the Religion of the Holy Roman Empire. It’s not rocket science! The number is the name of a man 666= ROMAN- Again, not rocket science!
