Mod science!! One mod for weight I run on most of my trucks, is Beef Tubes Beef Patties. Easiest way I've found to add weight, and down low. As always, keep it up, and we'll keep watching!!
Thanks rc everyday........got my jeep all weathered up now and looking fantastic!! Had a few ups and downs....but found a technique that works me. Wish I could send some pics, thanks for inspiring me to have a go 👍👍👍👍
I bought my c2x about two months ago and put many upgrades even wheels and the servo, still waiting on the rock sliders as they are b/o, and thanks for your video, I discovered that there is a Steering Guard that I can add to protect the steering servo, I just ordered one :)
Nice mods on the C2X. On hindsight, RC4WD should have launched this product with your upgrades in 2012 as the Trailfinder 2 . This would have gone head to head with the SCX10 TF2 should have been launched as the C1 X (or bruiser2 🙂) I'm a TF2 fan mysellf and really enjoy watching your channel . Thank you for sharing!
Stainless Steel is also non magnetic :) the steering protector is SS :) Great video man! There are also spring kits for the shocks that will enhance the performance even more.
Looks much better and obviously performs better. The huge center diff is a turn-off. I didn’t like that rig when it came out but it's going on me. You know me...I'm a Revolver and Puller Pro guy all the way...BUT...I have been thinking about a 550-can TorqueMaster....especially for my new single speed BFGOODRICH Edition. I've already made room for up to a 560-can motor.
Great Video, Ive never owned a Hard body Crawler, are these rigs capable to run comps with or are they to Heavy? whats something like this weigh? I always see everyone reducing weight running lexan & doing everything they can to achieve lcg? any help much appreciated? Thanks
There is really two worlds of crawling, Comp rigs like you are thinking with lexan bodies and these scale crawlers. They can weigh anywhere from 5 to 15 lbs. They wont be as capable but its more about the scale capability. Looks and performs like a real truck would. class 1 rigs have to have the tires tuck under the fenders, basically a stock class, this c2x is class 2, which can have linked suspensions but mostly a full body. And so on all the way up to the light comp rigs you mentioned.
Honestly I have changed so much on mine I dont remember how it was stock. I have taller shock towers I think, but with 80mm shocks you may hit the axle on the trans. I have even lengthened the front 4 link by 5 or 6 mm. Have a new video tomorrow of it where I swap in the scale V8 engine. Really adds a lot of weight up front. Im excited to see how it performs now.
Hi how are you? I finally got my c2x and I noticed that the servo is kind of weak, did you swap yours? also I noticed that the motor is poor but I seen you swapped yours, Thank you good videos any suggestions or advise are more than welcome
Check the adjustment for the steering on the remote. For some reason they were all shipped turned down. Also I am running a lipo battery at 11.1 volts. The servo is plenty strong after that.
@@RCeveryday don't get me wrong videos are great its just the go pro doesn't give a good perspective, I almost didn't buy a c2x watching your videos because it was hard to judge the capabilities... I went and bought one and I'm actually impressed at how capable it is right out of the box ( from a TRUE scale aspect)

The truck is awesome! I just received my C2X. Can’t wait to do similar upgrades! Thanks again!

Light bar might look cool with the roll bar.
I love my c2x! Great work!
Love that bed! Another great video! Do you know what size grub screws you used for the body? Tired of put screws in and out. Thank you!
Honestly I think there are several different sized ones on there. Lol. Some are 10mm long and some are 20.
Been crazy busy as of late but I love the intro!!
Iv'e taken the plunge today....got a few days off work so im gonna try and weather my jeep!! Im afraid 😂😂

Use stock shocks with stock trx4 springs!! You will be amaized
any Ideas on making it climb the steep stuff. I am thinking of ordering taller shock towers or going with 80mm shocks.

Do you have a video of when you did the bed

What did u use for the rear fender and tailgate?
I used an old tamiya hilux bed I had sitting around.
Looks good man
👍😎
Do you have a patch?????
videos would be so much better if you shot without the gopro
What camera would you recommend? I am getting tired of the gopro and it’s many issues.

@@RCeveryday I have a Samsung phone that takes great video ? I'm sure there's lots out there that would be great
I know what you mean, gopro doesnt do close ups well, too much fish-eye effect. I may try using my iphone 11 in the next driving video.
@@RCeveryday yeah do it today lol it'll give a much better perspective in the videos
👍🏽🐒🇺🇸
I know it will be a lot of work................
