- This is the first instalment for my new playlist where I will be sharing plying techniques and discussing what type of plying yarns and threads you can use to achieve different effects. Depending on the type of finish and how long it takes to make will depend on if I can fit more then 1 technique into each video.
In this video I am discussing my plans for this new playlist, and update what's been happening and what's coming soon. As well as discussions for the TDFF - Tour de France Femmes challenge (Tour de Fleece Femmes for us spinners) everyone is welcome to join me in this one and if you would like to complete for the prizes please join my facebook group and share your spins etc during the event. Commences on the 12th August - 18th August. So this one is for a week. / 802460181996704
Please subscribe to the channel if you have not, turn on notifications bell if you would like to get notified when I put out the next video instalment for this or anything else. And share and comment. Thanking you all.

You are a true master of art yarn. I am so grateful for the videos you share with us! I'm not a weaver because I hate the warp part, but I'd love to figure out some things that I could knit from it.

I don't understand why you didn't get many views or likes for this video podcast.
I hope your next video has a lot more views and likes.
I think it must be disheartening when you put so much of your time into the making of them.
I really appreciate you sharing your expertise with us all. ✨️🔆🌟🌞

Very interesting! I'm looking forward to the upcoming videos. Spinning is something I'm planning on learning in the future - need a new wheel though, the two I had sitting around for years dried and became cracked and wonky. But I do have a spindle lying around somewhere, so the plan is to start with that sometime after new years (I'm booked solid up until then). Hopefully I'll be able to finance a new spinning wheel soon as well, but we'll see. 🙂
@@anilovecreations starting out if you don't have the money for a wheel can be a pain in the butt 😉 but have a look around on market place and your local op shops may have some cheap.
I had to sell my yarns and weaving to save up for the ones I have now but my original was gifted to me by my mum. That one broke too. So I've been trying to learn this new majorcraft rose 🌹 not as easy to get the tension corrected as the Ashford traditional was lol. But getting there. Much easier now I have my new art yarn flyer though.
@@josparadiseofcolor Yes, I can absolutely find one second hand, but I live in an incredibly small house, so there's the issue of fitting one in as well, haha. But I'll figure it out. 🙂I've been eyeing the Ashford models for years now, and I'd really like one of those. I guess I'll just have to get a bigger house! 😛
@@anilovecreations an electric wheel then 😀
@@anilovecreations an ashford traditional travelor is a small light weight wheel designed to fit in a boot (back) of your car. But a ashford electric spinning wheel is even smaller with carry bag.
@@josparadiseofcolor I have been eyeing one of those too, yes... 🙂
