    Don’t colour over that awesome nose section love timber grain like that. The M500 looks a nice boat. Lots of mods that will guide me on my shrimp build that myself and grandson will make soon. Thank you.👌👍🇦🇺

      Will you be using the DDF-350 transmitter and receiver on this build Cozy? I’ve ordered one for the grandson build.👍

      Thank you! I will keep the nose section clear. I just put some paint on the sides. Enjoy your shrimp build!

      I will use a cheaper Flysky transmitter for this one. The DumboRC DDF-350 is an awesome transmitter that I use on my bigger boats.

      I do my best, but there are many great builders out there, who will out-class me any day. It doesn't matter actually.. as long as you have fun!
      I can't wait to try the M500 Mini Mono, either 😎

    Any news on the new shrimp build have you run it yet?
    My 3s version got 75.2 mph using a 3s 11.1 volt 150c gnb 2800 mah lipo flycolor 90 amp rocket 2968 5300 kv with a 4015 abc round ear by dasboata. It’s a stock build shrimp I just made a longer front hatch so the deck over the battery is part of the hatch for easy access. It has Ironclad’s rear ski and a 4mm flex cable with a 4 mm to 31/6” prop adapter.

      Great result, James! Thanks for the info on the setup.
      The first Shrimp out of 3 that I'm building is almost finished. I will maiden run it next week. I made a carbon fiber turn fin for it and gave her some paint today. Stay tuned for the video next week. I have been really busy with producing kits lately.

    Nice video! Thanks for sharing know-how. Is it worth to shorten rudder as Ironclad did?

    • @CozyRC
      @CozyRC  28 дней назад +1

      Thanks! For top speed, shortening the rudder will reduce the drag. I will try to find a good balance between speed and handling. Therefore, I will not cut the rudder blade 😀
