Recently bought this marvelous synth and got those patches right away : they are absolutely amazing ! This is excellent work ! For those of you who are still hesitating don't wait and get them - price is damn worth it !
All I can say is "Wow!" Those patches sound amazing. If I had the OB-6 I would definitely be after them. You really make the synth's sounds shine. Maybe I could make some space in my studio for one, lol
You're making life very difficult for me.Here I was considering the Rev2 (thanks to your patches),then the P6 (again your patches) and now I hear this today, and am seriously considering this instead.I know I can't go wrong with any of them, and whatever one I do chose,I'll be buying your soundsets for them, they're all absolutely beautiful. Thanks for all your great work and music. They're an absolute joy just to listen to.
Yeah, I was torn between the OB-6, the Rev2, and Prophet 6. All sounded great through my HS8 speakers, but then I put on headphones and the OB-6 won me over, even with the higher price. Mine is on the way from Sweetwater.com.
@@georgegeorgio1751 the Rev2 has digitally controlled oscillators, but they are still analogue. Only difference is they are pretty much perfectly tuned, which is what gives them their somewhat brighter character. But, if you know sound design, which most people don’t, you can emulate the effects of VCOs and produce a massive range of sounds.
Do you have the capability to offer these in all banks 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 ? I know some other people are starting to export their SysEx in each bank that way we get to choose. Your amazing man, really great work as usual
Micah Johnson if you search a website called laser mammoth (use chrome) you can upload the patch set and add them to any bank you like. It’s a free patch arranger. I’ve been using it because I’m too tight to buy sound tower.
@@lawrencevaughan5373 Hi Vaughtex. Does the Laser Mammoth program allow individual patches to be loaded into the synth, or must the entire bank be loaded?
Derek Baker you can do individual patches. it has two columns. The left, you load your OB6 synth bank, on the right you load up patches. load the whole bank into the website and then click them, that loads it on the synth so you can “preview” it. If you like it, drag it from the right column to the left.
@@AnalogAudio1 I suspected it but wanted to be sure. Thank you, I think I'll buy a OB-6 Module Desktop in a few months (and of course your patches) Good job!
@Spiral Architect right! If you already have a master keyboard (or any synth with a keyboard) then no need for buying the OB6 - keyboard version. The module will be just fine.
Do you want these patches (sounds) for your OB-6? You can buy these patches. Read the video description for details.

Really beautiful sounding synth.
Best OB6 patches I’ve heard!
Great job!
thank you
Very nice...patches highlight how smooth and chilled this synth can get. Good patches for a great synth.
True, but I find every patch is filled with emotion, if that makes sense. Even the smoth, "chilled", 'polite' pads make a statement.

Nicely done!

danke! Ja, der OB-6 ist auch mein Favorit von den beiden :-)
Beide sind echt super, aber der OB-6 steht ein bisschen vor, denk ich.
@@ProckGnosis finde ich auch, er hat den fetteren und interessanteren Sound imho.
Did you hear about Behringer's new Oberheim style synth they naming especially for the naysayers?
Its the Behringer OB Quiet.
Sounds amazing
Good work,man!
thanks :-)
excellent demo. Love the intro

I came into this expecting the same types of patches I’ve heard on this machine. I was wrong. Woah. Amazing. Superb!!!!
thank you :-)
I would love to hear what you could do with a Roland System 8
No kidding.
Does someone know what's the theme playing at 00:30 ?
I got strong memories with that song but couldn't remember the title.
Thank you
A part from JMJarre's "Rendezvous"?

IS there any way to change what banks it loads into? I want this library but I have another library that I bought thats in the same place.

When I load these presets does it wipe out mine or can I pick and choose which to load?
It will automatically load into user bank 2. So save your patches before loading the new ones.
Hello, can these patches be used in an OB6 Module Desktop?
Of course, it's the same synth

Questo è uno strumento pazzesco. E' da avere! Addirittura lo preferisco al recente OBX-8 anche se OBX-8 è più potente e ha 8 voci.
Those presets work on VST too? Like OBXD? Or OP-X PRO-II? OB-Xtreme?
for the OB-6 only.
Damn.. Very nice. Faithful yet new. 49 keys?? 😡
Get the module.
... and a 88 notes master keyboard ;-)
@Spiral Architect the keyboard will trigger the synth in MIDI. To get both sounds you need a mixer (physical or with your sound card).
