Ok, so imagine an Arcane theme park, but like, on the scale of Disney's star wars at Hollywood studios or universals harry potter theme park in Orlando. This was amazing!I can't imagine all the work put into this, only to make a 13 minute video.
Riot can technically build their own theme park eventually. With noxus, demacia, ionia, shurima, plitover/zaun, shadow isles, void, and bilgewater.

By the end she was just so defeated like “why does this always happen…” and then they vanish to god knows where.
I remember seeing all the hype for Arcane leading up to this and to be honest I blew it off, not realizing that Arcane would be an absolute MASTERPIECE. Kudos to Riot and all the work they've put into this.

I love that Leagues champions have lore. And the fact that Jinx and Vi have an unknown past that’s related and everyone’s been dying to know. And they finally did it. I have been a league player since 2015 and for so long I have wanted to know the story behind jinx and Vi. Thank u riot

Honestly, I'd like to see a Sylas backstory. Demacia sounds like it would be interesting, with it imprisoning mages for having magic, yet people like Lux are just exempted. We could see perspectives of like Sona, an innocent bystander who hates both the anti msgic culture and the rebellion of Sylas, or Garen's crisis on discovering her sister is a mage. Etc, it just feels so large.
Arcane is not canon
From a marketing perspective this whole event is another work of art. The reach and attentiveness this whole "Arcane" campaign has generated is aboslutely insane. All of that is just topped with another incredible video- and audiographic creation. Really insane.

This is exactly how I would hope a live action would be done. Practical effects/props and scenes and animation working together seamlessly and 100% dedication and love in every detail. Just feels so right and is a feast for the eyes.
Man they really redeemed the 2020 Worlds Opening. This is an absolute blast. All the work and art poured here are amazing

Worlds in Covid was a bit of a led down last year but it was expected. However, this year Riot is coming back with a vengeance. Absolutely stunning animation, music and world building with so much story and details. Well done Riot Games.

@@demon5965 It's crazy that this opening was made very fast as a second plan due to the pandemic messing up their original project. In the making of video they said that hours before the opening release they were still making it, they were afraid of upload times.
Saying this, they completing topped last years opening, arcane is now everywhere and using piece of piltover and zaun as inspiration for the opening is such a good Intriduction to a new decade of league of legends.
I really hope Arcane brings in many new players to LoL/Runeterra. Riot's marketing campaign has been insane.

I don't think I've seen a better visualization of Jinx's cracked psyche as when she first saw Vi - at first it looked like she was happy, excited, but then the flashes of color from all sides, confusing and enraging her. She lashes out, trying to make the images go away, becoming confused when she comes back to herself and everything has changed.

@@KristinaN05 not gonna lie, I am a little overwhelmed, haha, but I love the world and the art/graphics style. It’s my first PC game too, so playing using keyboard commands is pretty new to me. I’m just spending a lot of time in the training arena (thankful they have that system) and learning the basics of how the offered champions work. But I try ink I have to make a decision just so I can start learning strategies - items, buffs etc. love it so far. Sure it will change when I have my first game and get completely obliterated🤣

im blown away they finally chose good artists. ive always adored pvris and bea and league made me like Imagine dragons. this is stunnning
Feel how much work has gone into it. All the emotions that flow straight from the hearts of people have worked on it. Riot never ceases to amaze, it gets better every year. The expression of the feelings that run through Jinx's head grabs my heart ... I support her so much.

I love what they did consider the restrictions they had. At no point did I lose interest, and I loved how original everything felt. I'm just bummed because the two parts which made the previous Finals Openers really stick with me were the crowd reactions to the teams and the trophy. I can't wait to hear that roar again, especially a few years ago in Paris, "Bonjour Paris!" ringing out as the crowd only gets louder
I think this format fits the best since they’re incorporating arcane, as well as covid still being in the background preventing them from having spectators in person.

I wasn't expecting such a beautiful performance without a true stadium finals show, but man... This was so epic, they got 3 songs mixed up in the Piltover/Zaun Arcane universe... It's crazy!
Also Imagine Dragons and Riot games are a perfect match I'll never forget that show with Warriors and the Elder Dragon on the stage. So epic, this clip gave me goosebumps from the start to end.

the transition to the stage with all the players in place gave me literal chills!!!
The animation work here sort of wordlessly encapsulates the tragedy that is Vi and Jinx, having this history between them as kids, they hurt each other badly when they didn’t mean to and now the older is stuck in an endless pursuit to emotionally reach the younger who’s too damaged in a world too unaccomodating to ever truly let herself be reached.
this is why I stick around no matter how toxic summoner's rift is.
I'm so pumped for episode 4 to come out next week. Arcane is literally so entertaining.

This has to be by far the most well thought opening ceremony , so much creativity and all the details thought and put in: pure masterpiece. We only have to wait for fall 2024 when season 2 will drop and fingers crossed the next years worlds ceremony will live up to the legacy of 2021

I think it's more than past Trauma. Cause even as a kid she had those weird spells, and I guess they got worse as she got older.
Not sure if trauma, might be exposure to chemicals or both combined.

For what we understood, powder is still incontrol before she goes rampage. Her eyes is not yet pink so its possible she’s fighting for it.

Legit i dont think iv ever been more hyped for somthing riot has made. a LOL fan who doesnt actualyl play the game im so glad they r brining content to us. im so invested in all of the characters backstorys, jinx and vi have always been my faves and my top pics for an animted series followed by maybe lux and garren. keep it up riot we love the work.
