The "Broken Child" archetype definitely brings out the Caregiver/Nurturer instincts in some people. You see it often with characters like Jinx, Harley Quinn, Dee Dee, Poison Ivy, Max Ride, even more "heroic" characters like Harry Potter.
I can get that, but that doesn't excuse people with trauma to inflict trauma upon others. Which happens sometimes too. Having mental health issues when there are ways to help yourself, means you got no excuse to be a horrible person. I got severe trauma and trust issues. I love Jinx she is like me. But her blowing up a building after losing everything is not a great coping mechanism.
This is the version of the song that I have been looking for for months, a fusion between the version of the intro and the violin simply gives it a touch of epicity that the original version does not have

Jinx’s lore in the game has always been just pretty basic “Chaotic loose cannon, kills for fun”. You can tell that she was supposed to be like Harley Quinn. But you weren’t able to tell her character from gameplay or lore. But what Riot did with her backstory in Arcane was actually phenomenal. It was brutal but so beautiful. Jinx is perfect.
You should read her actual lore, she has always had a lot going on in terms of lore on Universe. Game doesn't do a good job at describing lores. The actual universe behind leagues characters is at least as comprehensive as some popular fandoms like harry potter or lord of the rings.
Arcane probably has the best plot in TV of all time. All the characters have a well written personality and backstory. And the thing with the top world and bottom world is such a cool dynamic for a setting.

Jinx/Powder is traumatized, alone and has trust issues. Her older sister abandoned her and betrayed her, causing her trust issues and emotions to go wild. She was still a scared and alone kid even in her teenager years, I think the show does an amazing job at showing the build up of her Jinx persona. Silco took her in when Vi abandoned her, therefore making Jinx have all of her trust in him and listening to what he says. Jinx saw Silco as the elder figure she never really had after being abandoned, Jinx really just needs a hug and support. Jinx is a pretty relatable character at times with the feeling of being abandoned and having 0 trust in others. Poor thing just needs to be showed love.
It's just sad that if some of the situation was explained to Jinx about the prison sentence that separated them if there was time, the relationship could have been slightly different.

A perfect expression of love for Powder and her loss of innocence and descent into madness as Jinx. Whilst this work is a derivative (no negative intent there), what you've done is very very VERY much raised the bar. Utterly respectful to the original work, and made something utterly beautiful. Okay. After exams, I'm definitely watching this. This is the first amv I've watched with Jinx and she really seems like an amazing character and the story seems beautifully written.
Jokes on you when arcane came out last year, I the most irresponsible person I know, decided I had to watch the acts as soon as they came out. But yeah it is a good idea to watch the edits after the exams and I wish you good luck for your exams.

You really see the thought they put into this show a total of 6 years, and a few months were only what they wanted to do (no animation, no script, no characters, just general concept). The animations, every scene looks like a piece of art. The story is so well written including all conversations. Everything flows in everything else. The music which riot is famous for in general and the emphasis they put on it. And finally the characters , perfect choice (mundane but special). The put all their blood and sweat into this. That’s how a show is supposed to be, a story to tell, not like all this trash nowadays. I just love it. Edit: completely forgot the world, everything changes according to the characters relations. Example is the last drop, how it changes represents the characters change.
I like how in some moments it's like powder comes back for a second when she is with her sister. When silco says don't cry your perfect it's like he's saying let go of powder you don't need her anymore and in the trailer for the second season it looks like jinx took over for silco as a way of remembrance for the closet thing she had to a father like figure. Love the clip it's amazing.

Ah, I love Jinx... she's misunderstood and just doesn't want to be abandoned, just wanting her sister to love and accept her like she did when she was Powder, even though she chose Jinx over Powder. Such a beautifully developed character, the whole series is incredible
Arcane has simply one of the most deliciously and intricately written characters in television history. All characters meld together perfectly, even Mylo and Claggor. Most say the two friends were short-lived, but they are an integral part of Jynx's development, fuelling her fall to darkness. They continued to live inside Jynx, at least in her schizophrenic episodes, up to the last episode in the series.
Got to be one of the greatest stories and character creations made and the artwork deserves awards, i cant wait for season 2 and will be rewatching season one. The music score also for this series is just perfect. A work of art that will go down in history

literally watched it because of "How (NOT) To Write Madness | Arcane vs Game Of Thrones" which was posted 8 days ago and got 465 k views as of today (it's sitting in my recommended to rewatch next to this comment, lol). Maybe there is a correlation (not necessarily causation) with it. I wasn't convinced by the trailer, was never interested in LOL, but that video got me interested and starting with episode 3 of the show, I was hooked until the very end. Loved all the characters and plotlines.

Arcane and Avatar: The Last AirBender are such amazing animated series, with great stories and character development. Aside from Harley Quinn, I can see a bit of Azula in Jinx. Love her, and hoping for a happy ending for her.

literally watched it because of "How (NOT) To Write Madness | Arcane vs Game Of Thrones" which was posted 8 days ago and got 465 k views as of today (it's sitting in my recommended to rewatch next to this comment, lol). Maybe there is a correlation (not necessarily causation) with it. I wasn't convinced by the trailer, was never interested in LOL, but that video got me interested and starting with episode 3 of the show, I was hooked until the very end. Loved all the characters and plotlines.
