I 3D model and honestly, it's the best FREE available software out there. I love editing videos, but Adobe and other Corporations always expect everyone to be rich when it comes to Media Production. Basically, once you learn the Blender Interface it's like a cheat code for life because you don't have to pay anyone to do what you need too. Nice Video!!!
I've been working in the game industry for many years, and I'd say that Blender isn't only the best FREE 3d software, but many people switched to it from 3ds max and Maya. It perfectly meets my demands, and I can download it everywhere. Moreover, it doesn't install 10-15 gigabytes of absolutely unnecessary shitty material libraries on your computer as 3ds max does.
thank you for this video series!!! blender has so many features, which is great considering how absolutely free it is, but it can be hard to navigate. like, im no stranger to computer programs but i really don't know all the different windows and hotkeys blender offers. thanks for a quick, easy to understand tutorial!!
I'm 2 weeks new to Blender and I'm glad I came across your channel. You broke down my confusion to the T as other videos I've watched jumped right into using blender to do some fancy editing. You kept it simple. Fantastic video! Just subscribed
Thank you sir. I'm learning to video edit from scratch, to step up my game in making gaming content, right now I'm focusing on Fortnite videos lol. You have a new subscriber!
Big thanks for this quick and very helpful tutorial I'm just starting with video editing and it seems that Blender is the tool I needed the most for what I want for now 🙏🏻
thank you, I've been meaning to populate my youtube channel with gameplay videos but I've found Blender hard to understand as a person who doesn't have much info about editing softwares. I'm sure your videos will be very useful for me
10:35 this was the part where i was laughing. not because I disagree. Its because of first hand experience from discovering an entire video i worked on for a week was out of sync just because i didn't use clips of the same framerate. Handbreak is a life saver for this!
this seems fairly easy to follow along, however it doesnt seem to mention WHY we are selecting these settings and the likes over the other. i just hear vague descriptions of the choices being selected and i dont see the connection between choosing, say matroska as the container than say mpeg4, you say to do matroska, but you dont explain why. and thats what is leaving me with more questions than before. the rest of the guide was similar in that regards, but do you have a follow up video or one that touches these things about it?
There are a lot of options and quite frankly I don't know all the answers - and it would really derail the video to talk about every single little thing. I'd recommend having some sort of notepad down and just writing down the questions you have to research later.
Boy... sad and grateful XD I actually did everything right and had figured everything out... but I was like... ok so its been like 8 years since I last used blender and I saw it had its own video editor now and well it handled different back then... how do I output now though?... I had already output the animation :( I saw your channel a few weeks ago which was why I was like... Ok... lets figure out what I have done wrong... I just didn't check my folder I sent it to Thanks for the video... I wasn't actually sure if I did what I needed to do and you clarified things... so different but so much the same Thank you :)
I have a problem. In the editor, when the slider reaches the 10 second mark on the timeline. It resets to the beginning. Is there any way to extend the limit? Thanks for reading -TheEpicGamerJowanna
@Harish Gaming TV Did you guys change the number of frames at the bottom right part of the screen. It's defaulted to 250 which is more or less 10seconds. Change to the total number of frames in the video and it should read it all
How can I reach out to you as I can assure I have the best COD kill short video clippings and I needed different video edetings and coming. If you get what u mean to say. So please let me know how and where I can reach out to you about this. Please let me know.
Looks like the Blender foundation is starting to put more attention to the little known Video editing part of blender! It seems to work better than Kdenlive (more stable and performant) but I have a crippling memory leak issue, when you go to rebuild proxies, it ends up gobbling 64GB of RAM and 128GB of SWAP! excuse me WTF?? Did you run into this issue? Also sync issues with more advanced edits where the cached / proxy clip is not synchronized with what the real video is doing.
It took me 10 minutes to figure out I could click and drag stuff into Blender from the normal file explorer. I felt ridiculous for the next 5 minutes...
I agree with everyone, it's a lovely tutorial, but the music is terrible. It doesn't make sense but distracts the viewer. It's not easy to concentrate to the voiceover. No offence.
Thanx. Hadn't used Blender in about two years and couldn't find the output section. Found it and should be ready to go. Here is a video I made of an original tune using 2.90.1 a few years back. Here is a video I made some years ago of an original tune I wrote. I used to kinda know what I was doing. ruclips.net/video/NAifbhEHSa0/видео.html
I like this guy. Mellow, kick back, subtle. Not your typical obsessed nerd. Reminds me of the teacher from Farris Bueler's day off.

Quite helpfull, I was looking exactly this to edit a couple of .mov files with alpha channel without losing quality. Thanks.
Great to hear!
Very cool. But one thing no one talk about. How can I change between viewport render and video editing render?
Can blender do a commercial real estate video, outlining roads, buildings, popups, text boxes?

This also happened to me

please what software did you use to record this video
I used OBS to record this.
Thanks..
It used to work for me but lately it would freeze when it hits the first frame of my video. idk why its happening.
thx
the easiest way to launch the editor is to select it in the welcome window
It took me 10 minutes to figure out I could click and drag stuff into Blender from the normal file explorer. I felt ridiculous for the next 5 minutes...
I will if helped 😉
Edited: both of you
why no one talks about how to drop multiple clips??
1:18 Based shameless ebegging
Why is it so much laggy...
what's that music a little creepy

Thanks!
