Now that you’ve covered all of the drain joints, I wonder how much water is going to be standing on their deck.
The contractor replaced the drain.
why are you covering the expansion joints and deck drains? Wont that cause issues in the future?

Question about the sealer:
If you’re planning on painting it when finished, does the sealer still go on first?
Does it keep the glossy sheen when cured? Will that affect the way the paint cures to the cement?

any issue with gping over the white plastic? what happened to drains, did they get filled with overlay?

This is not epoxy, It's a cement polymer-based product.
