***** Yeah, WH2J had that whole problem with extremely unbalanced damage system. Also, blocking any attack (special or not) caused automatic chip-damage. What I do like about it (aside from the very big & bold visuals) is that there are some Special Moves which certain characters only had in their WH2J versions, and in no other game in the series.
***** Yeah, I find all of the "World Heroes" games to be a challenge to defeat, to be honest (especially the 2nd one). I try to use effective knock-down attacks, before attempting to run an attack-pattern on the CPU, as it gets up. Works SOME of the time, but enough to get me into "the zone" of of exploiting typical CPU mistakes/patterns. Some fireball-uppercut patterns work, too, but are typically best on a foe who is about to stand up after being knocked down.

So each character has a desperation move, when their health is low, then a buffed version of that desperation move that can be done when their HERO meter is full? 🤔

I never understood why they changed Rasputin so drastically. From a normal magic character on WH1 to a sexual kinda gay character in WHP. Its funny, but bizarre.
