Those plants that put out gas, if you shoot them directly while on top of them it will yeet you. You managed to trigger that along with the explosion of the vehicle. Basically a double yeet. In case you wanna replicate it XD
Me and my buddy were moving to a new objective when we got ambushed by a patrol of robots. As soon as I said the joke “this reminds me of ‘Nam” I stepped on a mine and completely disappeared 😂 we laughed at that for a good solid 5 minutes, especially after I called in a napalm strike right on top of him…Vietnam indeed
That’s what I love about the game, there’s so many memorable moments that just happen simply from doing missions. No scripted set pieces, no cutscene stuff, just straight up gameplay moments

Freaking out and running away because your squad mate dropped a 120mm orbital stratagem almost on top of you has made some of the funniest moments I’ve ever experienced

I remember it like it was today like it was 5 hours ago. I was on Malevelon Creek with my squad, we thought it was just gonna be of the same cyborg socialists…we were wrong. This truly was a dive into hell, we hit the ground and immediately were ambushed from the trees; lasers and flames everywhere.. Even when we thought we escaped we ran into more of the bots, a hulk from a dropship and a shit ton of berserkers; they cut through my men like a chainsaw through butter. One by one my men were replaced right after they died…their bodies still warm laying on the ground as reinforcements came in. I never got to say my goodbyes properly, forced to fight alongside copies of my brothers and sisters in arms…but they weren’t the same.. Still the mission would be accomplished and we’d leave that place in ruins, I gotta go back in a few hours; wish me luck.. 🍀

Sadly, i'm not sure it will _ever_ happen... It's a massively online game, always connected and updating to the game's servers. Introducing mods would be a critical security flaw. I too would like modding, mostly to see ODST or 40k Stormtroopers ( of the Astra Militarum ) armors n' weapons, functional or skins... But The odds are simply of zero. You'd better prepare your own playlist to log in, and play on parallel.
Nah you won't need a mod for it. If you're on PC just mute the in-game soundtrack and then play Spotify on the background. Same with ps5 too since you could also background play Spotify while playing. you can even connect your phone to it and select/queue songs that way
1:25 the way that bile titan climbs over that hill is so incredibly cinematic, it's like the monster of a horror movie making itself known after hiding just offscreen for most of the time before.
Malevelon Creek with Communication Disruption, and Mortar emplacement and that damn Eye Sauron makes for some challenging missions. Me and my fellow helldivers nearly failed a few of the missions. Came so close to being destroyed and I was loving it the whole time. My ship, The Pride of the Stars mourns the loss of many helldivers who gave their life to liberate the planet from the robot menace.
Had a similar experience happen to me at 1:01, but instead of dying in one piece and making a dramatic death roll on the ground, I was blown into pieces right before getting on the ship while my friends watched in horror.
I don’t have helldivers due to my strict ahh parents but I say this guy say that he kept on shooting at the like extraction thing thinking it was a automaton drop
a buddy of mine recently got a stratagem and said that he got a war crime . curious I asked what it was, all He told me was to wait until I see. 2 seconds later the words to leave my mouth were "is that fking napalm?!"
As a Vietnamese I can confirm my country used to be like that. Thank you Helldivers to bring freedom and democracy to here, I appreciate it a lot. (It is a joke guys please dont say I'm unpatriotic, I literally own a spacecraft with the name Patriot of Patriotism)
Love how I've been waiting more than 5 years for a truly good game to come out. Finally it does, and my wife gives birth to twins a week before the game is released. My life is officially over... 😂😅
this game looks cool, my computer is too old and obsolete to run it and I don't want to build another. Enjoy, I'll just watch the gameplay vids lol. I had a lot of fun playing the first one for about a month.
